Sources tell us that the Hope for Haiti compilation album is likely to take the number one spot on the HITS sales chart tomorrow.
It would be especially history making as it would be the first all-digital album to hit number one!
The numbers are expected to easily reach over $100K but it's uncertain by how much.

The only Country where we have Homeless w/out Shelter, War Veterans w/out the Care they Need, Children going to Bed w/out Eating, Elderly going w/out Needed Meds & Mentally Ill w/out Treatment, yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV station

this whole "don't donate /buy the album because the money won't get there" is just an excuse so you don't have to donate.
this is really sad.
you can never be 100 percent sure whether everything works out the way you intend it to, but just to say "no" to everything cannot be the solution.
i agree that the US need help as well. why don't you donate to both.
just because the US can use it doesn't mean Haiti can't. come on.
why get angry at people who want to help. even if you would prefer them to donate to the US, you could also be happy and thankful that they are willing to spend for any good cause.

Re: KittieNash – Earthquake happened there duh! Nearly destroyed the whole country and people are still trapped under bricks. A lot of people have died and many people are injured. Hospitals, buildings, resources were all destroyed from the earthquake. People in Haiti need the most help in the world right now. America is not the only country with its own problems, other countries are suffering from economic crisis but the international community stepped up their game to help Haiti. Why shouldn’t we? The international community didn’t turn their back on us 9/11 and supported (and still do) us with war against Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Haitian victims are suffering far worse then Tsunami victims…

With the Tsunami, Many people drowned and most died very quickly. With the Haitians.. I saw pieces of bodies and heads crushed beyond recognition. Buildings collapsed on top of these people tearing bodies in half crushing skulls, flattening bodies to the ground. In some cases when they removed fallen walls, there was skin and blood, bodies completely crushed. Then people that were trapped were usually were being eaten at night by rats and bugs, growing infections…
These images are far worse that the Tsunami. These Haitian people suffered far worse. The pain is far greater and the dismemberment was far larger.
