How To Destroy A Priceless Piece of Art Without Really Trying

For starters, be a klutz!

News out of the Big Apple this morning reached us about a woman who got a little close for comfort to a Picasso at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday. The woman lost her balance and fell right into the painting titled The Actor, creating a six-inch tear in the canvas' lower right-hand corner.

The MET released a statement, assuring everyone that the piece can be repaired and will be back on display in a couple of weeks.

Phew! Bet that woman won't be bringing her two left feet anywhere near a museum anytime soon!

The MET makes no money too. They rely on donations. If you go in there, there is no admission charge. They have a sign that says "Suggested donation $15 dollars" but you don`t have to pay it. You can give them a penny and still get in.

They should have a policy - "You break it, you bought it" LOL

I actually saw a little girl bounce off a Pollock with her hands at the Art Institute in Chicago. Almost lost my breath because she did it twice. Her parents weren't looking.

Its a shit painting anyway she shoulda ripped it to shreds. And if they are so concerned about they should put it behind plexiglass like they do in the louvre.
