They may not have won the show, but they definitely won in other ways! For example, we haven't mentioned the winner of this year's X Factor - nor are we posting his song - but we just have mentioned Jedward and, now, we present….

Jedward were the only ones worth watching on x factor and they are the reason I started watching. I love them they are absolutley mental and so much fun to watch. They are not a joke and they have loads of fans, haters need to realise this.

they were such bad singers it was pretty hilarious how much people loved them. guess it was the combo of somewhat good looking, if effete guy, twins, improbably hair and the cheese factor.
i don't get the brits most of the time, but i get why they loved Jedward. they were too cutely ridiculous not to adore…kinda like Alvin and the Chipmunks or a retarded puppy.
Jedward rock…they are so funny, entertaining and can sing. They are different to the norm and are a breath of fresh air. They were the true winners of the X factor and made the show this year. They are really sweet young kids who are living their dream and have received such hate, people should be ashamed. In the words of Jedward tho they turned the Boo into a woo-hoo! Considering they got through to the 7th week in the show, and have since done over 70 shows which have gone down a storm according to all the venues (most popular act among all the x-factor contestants who have gone there) got on to prime-time shows (Graham Norton on New Years Eve in England, The NTA awards, The Late Late Toy Show in Ireland) where many tuned in ONLY to see them (and ratings were among the highest for a long time) I fail to see how many are concluding on here ´everyone in UK hated them. Fair enough if its not to your taste, but you don´t speak for the majority. They have pretty average voices, which they more than make up for in performance. See NTAs for an example - and check out The Jonathon Ross show on Friday (yet another top rating show that wants a piece of The Jedward;) )

The guys are amazing in every respect and the real winners of the X Factor. Unlike most of the other contestants they have not been to stage school, played the clubs, been in a band or have a manager trying to get auditions with the BBC!…The list goes on.. The boys are wonderful. They are so positive and bring such fun to their performances. Their 'Oops I did it again' performance on the X-Factor was the tv highlight of 2009. They deserve their success, they are hard workers and are living their dream. They are also the prettiest little glitter bunnies I've ever seen.
Not everybody in England and Ireland hates them actually, most people hated them at the start because they're not 'great' singers and people thought they were a bit obnoxious but when the live shows started, they even began to win over Simon! After all the crap Simon said about them, they finally got him to say he enjoyed their performance and would want to see it again over some of the other performances! They really had such a huge turnaround. The general public went from hating them to loving them and they still love them even now. Obviusly there are certain individuals who hate them but I'm speaking majrity.

These 2 were the best thing about the X Factor this year true they dont have the best voices but they were easily the most entertaining people on the show they've said themselfs they know there not great singers.

Id never watched X factor before until this year, simply because they were entertaining.. The show needs more people like them!
I've no doubt Cowell gets down on his knees every night and thanks God for Jedward, without them the series would have bombed. If his planet-wide X Factor empire is to stand any chance of succeeding and not proving a billion-dollar bust he's going to need a Jedward in every series in every country and several Jedward's in the US.
Jedward are one in a million and they made tens of millions for the X Factor, they're like God, if they didn't exist we'd have to invent them, though thankfully we don't have to - they're here, to stay.
