December Home Sales Plunge Nearly 17%!

Sales of previously occupied homes took the largest monthly drop in more than 40 years in December, plunging far deeper than expected after lawmakers gave buyers extended time to use a tax credit.

      Re: luvstotango – You wanna know why? It's because Americans have a retention span of about two minutes, (three minutes if you count celebrity stuff). Mass, NJ, West Virginia, etc., even my state of California (which is already in deep shit), the mentality is the same. Because people vote a certain way doesn't mean they are informed. Either way, at this point the problems created by Bush and Cheney, and also Bill Clinton in the banking industry are going to be felt FOR YEARS. That's something you can't control with a vote.

      Re: SuperStarSteve – the problems were created by the democrats including dodd, waters, frank and clinton. bush saw the problem and tried to put a stop to it but the congress pushed it off. obama policies have excelleratted the problems, this recession should have been over in march of 2009, instead there is no signs of recovery.

      Buck, you are spot on! There are not many who know the truth. Nobody, especially business owners (who are struggling) want to make any moves until the jigaboo in chief is gone. Cap and trade, healthcare, global warming, tax increases etc. are on the mind of all that pay attention. Obama hates America and is trying to make us "even" with third world counties. FUCK HIM!
      Democrats are fucking insane and the country seems to be waking up to that fact.
