Avatar hottie Sam Worthington is in negotiations to star in the latest vampire cashcow film, Dracula: Year Zero.
The film will be a period piece that explores how Dracula first started biting bitches in Transylvania, and will be directed by Alex Proyas, the guy who directed the shiteous Will Smith vehicle, I, Robot.
Yeah, we had to IMDB him, too.
We're still undecided. Maybe we'll check out Worthington's next flick, Clash of the Titans, before we make an informed decision on whether or not he can out-sparkle RPatz.
We doubt it, though!!

I read about this movie. It sounds great but it's not a vampire movie, it's about Vlad the Impaler.
As vampire movies go I am dying for Tim Burton's Dark Shadows! Johnny Depp is my fave and so is Barnabas Collins. Win-win situation! We are due for another Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles too. Loved the first one with Brad Pitt!
If they never make another Twilight movie it will be too soon.
