Orlando Bloom will not be returning for the 4th installment of Pirates of the Caribbean set to be released next year.

"Will's swimming with the fishes," said Bloom. When asked if he would come back, he replied, "Not this time. No. No. No."

WTF?! If Johnny Depp is coming back, we can't imagine the hold up!

One less pretty face - we'll live!

      what will we do without Orlando? He was about 80% of the reason I saw those movies.

      He hasn't done anything big for a few years, if I was him I wouldn't turn that role down in a million years. I'm sure there is something more to it then just saying no, money is usually a big reason why actors turn down roles.

      That's old news. Keira Knightly isn't in it either…part 4 doesn't focus on those two characters.

      How about hiring R-Patz to play Jack Sparrow's long-lost son? Can you imagine the amount of $ that movie would make with Depp and Pattinson in the same movie?

      Well the reason why I don't think him and Keira are returning is not because they don't want to, because how POTC 3 ended didn't live much more story development to their characters for another movie, Will Turner was dommed to sail that ship for eternity or a no of yrs forgot how which and while Keira waited for him, so…

      Honestly, I didn't realize he'd been in any of the other flicks. I guess I'm just so blown away by J. Depp that I didn't notice any other guys in the movies. So long as Depp is on board, that's all that really matters.

      The movie will suck !!! Orlando was the only reason to watch XD But all fan all ready knows that he wasn't coming back ! A little bit late Perez… :)

      I'm not actually that fond of Will. I love Jack, but I am definitely sad that Keira won't be returning for the 4th one. :(

      I'm bummed but not surprised. If you're looking for the fountain of youth, you'll likely not be hanging with the guy who escorts the dead… And, Keira Knightly was paid dirt in the first three, and her story line is sort of wrapped till 10 years later, unless she's raising the boy on a pirate ship. Would love to see the three of them again, but that's what the DVD player is for. Johnny's good enough — a still photo of Johnny on screen for 2 hours would be good enough. Hopefully they do get Geoffrey Rush and some of the original crew.

      Erm…this is VERY old news Mario. Neither Orlando or Keira are in the next installment something that was made clear shortly after the third one was finished. But then again, you never check your facts…

      They should get Rachelle Lafevre from Twilight to play his love interest. That would be a good match I think.

      um please actually watch the movies if you are going to comment on them. They made it pretty clear with the end of the last movie that neither Elizabeth or Will be coming back.

      The movie will do just fine w/o Bloom. It's Depp we watch for anyway - DUH! I'd like to see Russell Crowe join the cast.

      the reason that both orlando and keira are not in it is that it is a prequel to the original… wouldn't make much sense to have them in it… it is basically the jack sparrow story. Trust me… this comes from a VERY reliable source… the same source who told me that the reason keira didn't attend the premiere of POC 3 was because she was PISSED that she wasn't offered a part in the 4th movie because it didn't make sense to have her in it.
