Of course it is!
Knowing a good money-making scheme when they see it, Warner Bros. is going ahead and converting the final two installments of Harry Potter into 3-D flicks.
So now, all you nerds will have three options for your viewing pleasure - 2-D, IMAX, and 3-D. (Possibly a fourth - 3-D IMAX.)
Now, if those execs were really greedy smart, they would make special limited-edition 3-D glasses in the shape of Harry Potter's famous specs.

I can't stand IMAX. I would probably end up only being able to see Harry's left nostril. 3-D would get annoying only because they would hype up the fact that it is 3-D and add scenes that are not need and don't happen in the book. I'm going to just see 2-D.

Avatar was in 3D, and they didn't add any stupid special effects, so I think it'll be a really cool idea to see like… the fight scenes and whatnot all in 3D.

3D : Twilight
The last two movies or so had scenes that were already converted in IMAX 3D. So what, now they're putting the whole movie in 3D?
God damn, I really,really hope this fad stops soon. I don't give a shit about 3D. "Avatar" is the zenith as well as the nadir of the movement.

i'm sorry… the twilight books do not even compare to the harry potter series. they are horrendously boring. edward comes across as a controlling ass, and bella is a whiny pushover. potter all the way!
but I hope this time it's the WHOLE movie on 3-D, I saw the Half Blood Prince in "3-D" but they were only 10 fucking minutes, everything else was regular

HECK YEAH!!! I can't wait!! If anything is going to break Avatar's record it's Harry Potter. They already make a BILLION Dollars per film, the price of 3-D tickets will DOUBLE that.
