    American Idol contestant Angela Martin of Chicago has made it to Hollywood Week for the third time, but her journey has been rough to say the least. The first time she made it to the next round she found out her father had been murdered. The second time she had to drop out of the competition to settle a traffic ticket in court! And now the talented singer's mother is missing and has been since Christmas. So sad! After her mother Viola Brown Martin didn't show up for Christmas dinner Angela's family filed a missing person's report. On New Year's Eve Viola's car was found in an unfamiliar neighborhood, but she has yet to be found. Angela says:
    “We haven’t heard anything yet. The detectives have been calling my sisters and myself, and just keeping us informed. They say they are still just looking and asking us more questions, if we know anything but her friends are calling us, so it’s hard.” “We haven’t stopped looking. We’ve been out in the cold, and before I left to go to Hollywood, we were looking. I think what hurts us the most was they found her car but they didn’t find her. It was abandoned in a forest preserve in the dark. We just want to know, what were you doing over there/default.jpg"/>So Sad…And Freaky!
