Alicia Keys is supposedly secretly engaged to producer boyfriend Swizz Beatz, who is currently divorcing his wife Mashonda.
Swizz is rumored to have proposed with a 7-carat ring right before Alicia's 29th birthday on January 25 and a friend says, "They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed."
Keys' rep is denying the engagement but another pal says of Alicia:
"She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album [The Element of Freedom]."

Re: Godess115 – As far az Alicia's music; quite mediocre I would say these days. Their is no comparison to when she first blew up on the scene in maybe 01' or 02' and all the songz sound about the same. Bleh.
I'm happy for her — but she can do so much better. I'd LOVE to see her w/someone like John Legend. As far as her being a home-wrecker, you don't know the situation except from what the MEDIA portrays, so stop being so damn judgmental.

I could have really understood if she fell in love w/ a guy who she she didn't know and when she met him, didn't know he was married and then months and emotions deeper into the situation found out that he was deceiving about his marriage and had a hard time letting go of him.
