Bocelli And Blige Team Up For Haiti!

At this Sunday's Grammy Awards, opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Mary J. Blige will be performing a duet together.

The unlikely pair are teaming up to cover Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water during a special fundraising segment of the award show to benefit Haiti.

The song will be available on iTunes and all proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross.

      I love Bocelli! Never thought he and Blige would do a duet together. That is unlikely. He has a beautiful voice. :)

      They're coming together for a good cause. It's not an issue of who deserves to sing with whom, moron.

      They actually have done a duet together before on Bocelli's CD, "My Christmas," they sang "what child is this". It is a beautiful version of the Christmas classic and I'm sure they will do an amazing rendition of "bridge over troubled water" as well!!

      I'm tired of the disgusting and cynical self promotion of celebrities following this tragedy. Money they make from charity singles and benefits is a drop in the ocean compared to what they could make if they donated their own money (without turning it into a PR excersise.), it could run into billions.

      I'd rather hear more about what's actually happening than spoilt celebrities trying to show off how much they care. A tragedy like this is a PR man's wet dream.

      They actually sing together on his Christmas cd and it is an amazing version of What Child Is This. They sang it together on Oprah…

      I love andrea, and although i think not every hiphop singer is worth singing with him, i must say i love mary too!

      Millionares asking the average person to donate $10 is a FARCE! Eachcould cough up a million bucks and be done with it. '

      Plus, all donations to Red Cross go into their coffer and NOT necessarily to the Haitian people. Think of it as their pledge drive.

      Find a non profit where funds go directly to the cause.

      Re: VanMora – Mary J is not a hiphop singer stupid, she is R&B, and R&B music is just are relevent as what Bocelli sings. Rhythm and blues is a style of music that has been around for decades, hiphop has not, maybe you should learn the difference.
