Jersey Shore Cast Coming Back!
And they should be considering they're getting double the $$$$$$!
Although MTV has remained quiet regarding negotiations, it seems Snooki and the gang from Jersey Shore are coming back!
The cast has indicated that the network is preparing for a new season after doubling their salary to $10,000 per episode.
If you think that's a lot, it's probably twice as much to a guido!
The season one finale brought in 4.8 million viewers and since they singlehandedly saved MTV, they want them back on the air ASAP. More fist pumping is tentatively set for summer!

My friends tonight on the tv the idiot in the white house is going to try and bamboozle you with half truths and platitudes that don't mean anything. This jerk is all talk and frankly does nothing but put up a stupid grin. This country is going down since he took office and he does not care about it.
They deserve it, as sad as that sounds. MTV hasn't had ratings like that for a show in a long time.

Good for them! They brought up the ratings, they're making tons of appearances because of the show, everyone is talking about them be it bad or good and they're entertaining. They deserve that raise. They worked for it. It's an honest living. Why hate on them. Yep…I'll be watching.

Can't wait! I will admit, this show is my guilty pleasure! I don't watch anything but Jersey shore on MTV! I love tgw cast and am happy they are going to keep them instead of doing a real world type show! Go snooki!

This show isn't popular because the cast is talented in any way, it's popular because they're a train wreck. I have a feeling that this show will peak and then fall like a rock once people get over the initial shock.
The entertaining part will be watching these people fall apart in real life when they start believing the hype. I give it a year before Snooki or some of the others are posing nude for a mag or even doing full porn.

That is the most ignorant comment I've ever heard!! Especially since most of them rolled up in Land Rovers and Cadillacs. Italian's are known for being very hard working people. If UNICO had a problem with the show, they will definatly have a problem with this comment!!

i hope they send them somewhere else on the "Jersey Shore" because if they come to seaside, they're going to need a pretty significant amount of security. most of us locals are none to pleased with how we are now percieved thanks to a bunch of "juicehead" whores.
I think its great they are back. They are hilarious. AND …. This show is way better than the HILLS - who are making 100k per episode. So .. If MTV is in trouble .. Kick the HILLS to the curb. Guys, I got news that season 2 will not be at Seaside but at Sea Isle! Hell yeah, they're goin to the REAL Jersey shore now! Down south and its all bout to change. My best friend has a house down there, this summers gonna be bangin! Not that big of a shore, probly will be easy to find them there can't wait to see how it goes! I love living 45 mins from the shore! gonna be weird seeing where I grew up every summer all on tv.

It just goes to show that if you have a substance abuse problem, talk/think/act as though you are uneducated/ignorant, and have no tangible accomplishments to speak of or promote - you can get a show on MTV, get paid thousands, and have people look up to you.
So sad….so sad.
To all that are saying they "deserve" it…. they drink, fight, hook up with people and let someone film it. In order to "deserve" something, you should have to earn or work for it - no? In what way does that seem like "work"? Teachers deserve a pay raise, police….firefighters…doctors…paramedics…(who save lives on a daily basis) deserve a raise. Not spoiled kids that become famous for playing into stereotypes and promote ignorance.
I'm not "hatin' " - just pointing out how sad it is… I think anyone over the age of 21, and/or people that work hard on a daily basis to put themselves through college, support themselves and their families would understand where I'm coming from..

i hate to admit it but "the jersey shore" is definitely my guilty pleasure show. it has given mtv some of its highest ratings and considering what they are paying those losers for the snoozefest that is "the hills" 10,000 per episode is not that much.
