Ha! Forgot yourself for a minute there didn't you, Kristen Stewart?
K-Stew thought she was hot shit this weekend, walking around Sundance with two of the most talked about movies at the festival. But while bouncing around to all the parties with her big ego, she must have forgotten that she isn't actually of age to drink yet.
Saturday afternoon, Kristen and some friends tried to party it up at Tao restaurant for the Ed Hardy Shoes Happy Hour event. The bouncer stopped them at the door, asked for IDs, and turned them away for not being of age.

A source recalls seeing Kristen look "pretty surprised" that she was denied at the door and her friends even tried to reason with the guy, claiming they were only looking to sit for half-hour before they headed to Joan Jett's concert. But even that little gem of an excuse couldn't get them inside, so they left.
How embarrassing for you, KStew! To be turned away from a Hollywood shindig and with your less famous friends right there to witness it.

If it was a place serving food, as in 'TAO Restaurant' there is no reason why she should not have been let in. Just do not serve her alcohol. No biggy. and what is this BURN? Maybe she was not embarrassed, just like 'oh well'.

Welcome to Utah, Biatch! You can't get in to bars if you are under 21. No exceptions! TAO is a "festival" venue and not a regular restaurant so they have even tighter regulations. Normally, Utah liquor laws are really annoying, but in this case, they are pretty fun!

I'm 18 and I see so many people of my age drinking way too much and sometimes even ending up in the hospital and stuff like that. last year we even searched the town because a drunk friend had suddenly gone missing (he'd gone outside and all of a sudden he was gone) and everyone was really scared and then we suddenly saw him running across the streets, and he was lucky he didn't get run over. after that he vomited all over town. yep, big fun… I think people are more mature and 21 (at least I hope so) and don't drink that much so 21 is way better than 16!
