More Details On Kiefer's Hefer Cash Scam!

We find ourselves still returning to our original question, even with the added details in this case:
Why was Kiefer Sutherland buying cows???
Regardless, the case brought up yesterday involving Kiefer and a con artist who took the 24 star for thousands is more detailed now. We've learned that the scum in question, Michael Wayne Carr, was using a complicated ponzi scheme to take money from several investors, including Kiefer.
Sources are explaining that Kiefer never had direct contact with Carr, only his investment bankers did. This transaction under investigation, however, was not the first time Kiefer did business with the man. Back in 2006, the con artist approached Keifer with the deal asking for $550,00.
Kiefer gave him the money and within a month, Carr returned his investment, plus a $130,000 profit. Because Kiefer did make a profit off of the deal, he signed on again, investing $869,000, but that is where he got stiffed.
According to court documentation, Carr admitted he used that money to pay off other debts and that he "doctored" the paperwork to dupe Kiefer's financial team into signing off on the deal.
Diabolical! Maybe it is time to go a little Jack Bauer on this guy, Kiefer!

The correct spelling is, heifer, not hefer.
There was a blind item on a male TV star who gets drunk and then hits on men. Sounds like this guy.
Farm Subsidies or a write off would be a reasaon to buy cows.
$550,00? Really?
Are basics in mathematics, spelling and grammar that complicated?
keifer is a a sorta cowboy, at least the hollywood version of it. he owns a ranch, rides horses, has competedin a quite a few rodeos, etc. he's also a big drunk, which is pretty cowboy.
so why wouldn't be buy cows. i've heard of crazier investments!
let's milk this story till the cow's come home.
Kiefer owns a big ranch in Montana and was a cattle rancher for most of the 90's (when he quit acting) so he has the background. He didn't wake up one day and decide to randomly invest in cattle. And yes, he is a bit of of a cowboy, a great team roper, he and his partner John English won several competitions, including first place in the ’98 U.S. Team Roping Championships.
Beg, borrow and steal it..
In the words of Kat William: Make your paper go boo-boo!
He'll never be his father. The question that comes to my mind is, "Why did Julia Roberts, literally, leave him at the alter years ago?'. Good choice for her. He has so many issued it really isn't funny.
Re: jkdeering – and if anyone did anymore googling or go to youtube, they would see pics of him doing rodeo stuff. as for it being his investment bankers doing this, if I were Kiefer, I would sue my bankers. this guy doctored documents, etc. Not kiefer's fault and HIS pros should have seen this.
If you can spell Kiefer, than you should be able to spell heifer.
He should stick to what he knows best…booze. Don't invest in something u know nothing about.
Dear moron who posts these stories:
Please use spell-check.
It is heifer, not hefer.
Just one of 100 mistakes per day.
Ewww!! Whats up with his ears???
It almost sounds like he, or they, set him up. It's like a pool hustler; he lets them win one or two, and the bet gets bigger, and then the hustler goes in for the big money kill. I guess he'll have to go back to the actual cattle auction and invest the old fashioned way. He can drive his investment home the same day.
