Octo-Mom Speaks!
It's been one year since Nadya Suleman gave birth to octuplets and she did some reflecting recently on raising 14 children.
Here are some HIGHlights:
On resting:
"I don't get much sleep. About two or three hours a night. But I'm continuing to move forward with my life and trying to be the best mother I can be."
On growing up:
"I've definitely matured a lot. When this started, it was all about me. But now I find myself in a situation where I have to support a large family and take care of a large household. I've been through more in the past year than most people go through in a lifetime.
"I've been sued, harassed, abused, but I've held my own. I think about others now and not so much about myself. I spend more time thinking about paying bills, paying my mortgage and paying attention."
On parenting challenges:
"One of the biggest challenges is bonding with my babies. I need the help of my nannies, but I don't want my children being raised in something that resembles a group home."
On fitness and going to the gym:"I go several times a week, usually in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep. I push myself pretty hard. I'm lucky. I've got good genes and my body just always seems to bounce back after my pregnancies."
On the octuplets' birthday:
"It'll be a quiet celebration. You definitely won't find a bouncy house here … We had birthday cake and pizza on Sunday. It was quite a mess, quite a mess."
On if she'd do it all again:
"No, no, no … I love kids, but I also recognize that things could be better for mine. I never planned on eight. I wanted one or maybe two more. But I had eight. It's not the best situation, but I'm doing what I can do."
She still sounds insane to us!

Actually…she doesn't sound as crazy as she did when this all started. It kinda sounds like she has had a reality check. Hopefully shes pulled it together for the sake of the kids!

Somehow she an afford all of this without TLC or taxpayers support, so keep up the good work. She has staff to help care for the kids…..kids are fine….she may have been crazy before but she seems to have found sanity. 14 kids in her situation was insane….but somehow she has made it work against the odds. I hope that she writes a best selling book about time management for busy mothers someday. She left crazy behind. ( unless she has more babies. )

This has got to be one of the most DISGUSTING people I have ever laid eyes on, right next to Heidi Montag. It was all about being famous for her!! IT STILL IS!!!!!!!! She sets up these pathetic photo ops in her FRONT YARD dressed in a slutty santa getup and tries to shove herself down everyone's throats constantly!! I don't care WHAT she says she is a DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING that needs to shut her mouth AND her legs (popping the babies out) she is so mental it's insane she got to keep all those kids……and then also the bragging about her body….."it's all natural no plastic surgery" yeah sure, as real as your face supposedly is huh?? Can't help it, I like Nadia. I think she is trying. I respect the fact that she did not want to see the embryos destroyed. THAT WAS HER RIGHT PEEPS! She did not expect all of them to survive, but she did the right thing and it is her CHOICE!

Why would any sane peson want even ONE more kid when they already had SIX at home that they could not even begin to feed, clothe, house and provide medical care for?
