Business is booming at Netflix!

Netflix added 1.1 million customers to its ranks in the fourth quarter, a record for the 11-year-old company, and posted a 36% surge in profit, the company said Wednesday.

Netflix earned $30.9 million on revenue that climbed 24% to $445 million.

      Netflix is a great deal! You can't beat the price for $9.xx a mo./1 dvd at a time and unlimited streaming which goes to my TV, PS3, puter and soon to be WII. Love it. I would spend that much for 1-2 nights at the local rental market. Unfortunately, it's going to put alot of other businesses out of work!

      Netflix might be going gangbusters. Our main Blockbuster, here in Ft. Worth, went bust about 4 months ago and closed. Gee, thanks Obama for guiding us into a depression with your insane, anti-capitalist, class warfare economy.

      What do you people think, when Obama says 'redistribution'? Yeah, they take your money and give it to ACORN and SEIU. Let's tax the productive people out of existence. Do you pick a surgeon by the color of his skin? Your affirmative action president is not such a good idea, is it?

      Netflix sucks. I can get new releases quicker by going to the local drugmart. I liked them for awhile then I stopped getting the new releases. Everything is very long wait.

      Netflix sucks, I love my apple TV is easier, faster, better, and i get all my movies in HD. EVERYONE should have an AppleTV.

      Re: FloFer – Sure, Appletv is awesome..but cost wise, you cannot beat Netflix(which also starting to stream in HD). For the money, it's the bomb!

      Re: Scahootowl – I get new releases from them just fine but also sometimes go to the local Blockbuster if I want something quicker. I really feel like NetFlix is worth the money though and it's because of the all the stuff you can watch instantly through the computer or TV (or through xBox, etc) while you wait for stuff to arrive in the mail and they're pretty quick with that too. I'm only sorry I didn't sign up with them sooner!
