Katie Holmes has delusions aspirations of singing in a film role in the future. Her co-star in The Romantics Elijah Wood is even encouraging it!
"That would be incredible," says Katie. "It would be fun."
Incredible is not the word we'd use to describe your completely average singing voice.
Elijah chimed in that he would be up for it too and Katie replied, "Let's do it. Elijah and I would like to make a musical."
Katie has a comedy with Kevin Kline and Paul Dano coming up called The Extra Man and a horror film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark alongside Guy Pearce.
Stick to the non-singing roles, Katie. Remember the disaster that was your So You Think You Can Dance performance?

why not? everything in the studio is cut, added on to, etc. In the end, she will sound great, just like alot of 'singers' out there now. then we 'hear' them in concert and cringe. or they lip synge for ever.

ever since i heard her sing "on my own" on dawson's creek, i've been partially deaf in my left ear. after hearing her sing and dance to "hallelujah, come on, get happy," i was further deafened in my right ear, and blinded by her hideous lack of talent. please end the suffering.
She was a talented actress.
I think she as she 'grows up' and her brain develops she will break away from the control freak daddy substitute she married.
She is reaching the age where we will see if she has the strength and self esteem to make the changes needed. Is her daughter going to be the catalyst?
Maybe she will wake up and realize her daughter should have a normal life as a woman and NOT be under the control and auspices of crazy scientologists.
This time will define her as a responsible mother.

I think she did fantastic on her performance on DWTS - so suck it, Perez. She can sing better than you! She's a beautiful woman, with a lot of talent. I hope she really takes Hwood by storm and proves all the haters wrong. But - she seriously needs to get away from Creepy Tom. He's a loser and totally bad for her. At least she got Suri out of the deal, but you know he'll NEVER take his claws outta her.
I can't stand the way she looks anymore, the longer she's with Tom Cruise the more she looks like him and he alone is more than enough to take as it is..
