Xtina Continues To Inspire!

Hope For Haiti Now participant Christina Aguilera is taking her goodwill to the next level!

The singer will be the star of a new PSA in conjunction with Yum! Brands World Hunger Relief to urge Americans to donate to the earthquake relief effort in Haiti.

Says Aguilera:

I'm devastated by the toll that the earthquake has taken, and, as a mom, I am especially heartbroken by the children and families affected. My goal for the PSA is to inspire as many people as possible to donate to the World Food Programme, so they can continue to feed the survivors in Haiti and move them from hunger to hope.

We love seeing stars use the power of their celebrity for a good cause!

      -
A - celebrities have no real power, having a horde of drooling sycophants is idolatry - not power
      -
B - the only thing this skank cares about is her plastic little career and she clearly finds stepping on the bodies of dead Haitians is an ideal way to promote her bony ass
      -
C - I'll be impressed when "Xtina" and all these other talentless "stars" shake there asses down there and help dig graves without alerting every tabloid in the process

In my opinion, during the Haiti telethon all of the other female singers sounded like amateurs after she sang.

No choir or background singers; Just her and her piano player. Flawless!

Clearly people need to do some research aka "bra-buttons" before you make statements like that, first off even if she could go down, they arent letting a lot of people down there and although it would be great for them to go, many celebrities have been turned down due to the fact that their celebrity could cause unwanted chaos and averted focus from the real job at hand. Secondly this is christina's 2nd PSA for world hunger releif where she DID go down to guatamala as part of her campaign, no make up, plain clothes and did do some work. So until you get down to haiti, you cant judge someone else for LEGALLY and Physically being able to!

are you honestly hating on her???
i respect xtina more and more each and everyday. she loves her fans, and helping people,

shes doing something great. xtina doesnt care about press. shes been famous for over a decade, shes over that shit.
she told them because she wants to promote it and help the people of haiti.
and xtina may not inspire you,
but dont say she doesnt have an impact on people

go listen to her song Thank You, and she thanks her fans, and even put them in the song, and they tell her how much she inspired them.

so speak for yourself, not the rest of the world.

Great pipes … but yet another celebrity jumping on the crisis-of-the-moment bandwagon. Shucks it's nice they give back in a glare of publicity … considering they're all stupidly overpaid for what little they do, they SHOULD get off their asses and do SOMETHING. You want to praise people for giving? Praise those who give even though they can ill afford it, not these ego-driven twits.

she lives in mansions with fountains; she buys her kid designer baby wipes. some do-gooder. what a hypocrite.

she can sing, though. she can REALLY sing

    12. 12

She needs to do something about her hair. She's had that same shock-white platinum blonde mess for-evah! Sooo tired.

    13. 13

Re: ba-buttons – Then you wouldnt know whether she'd done it if she didnt alert the press. Way to be cynical

Celebrities definitely benefit from the publicity, but they contribute way more by doing public events, see how the telethon generated!! The same 14 people go down to dig graves, how much help can that be? Some people need to stop being recklessly bitter and understand that fame can be useful in cases like this

Bitch can sing. I like her. She stays out of nut wards and jails and we don't ever hear about her speaking in tongues, going commando, or throwing cell phones at HER PA's now do we? Bitch has class! She don't need HER dad to sign her checks!

Extreme talent coupled with extreme humanitarianism. She does a lot of work for the women's shelter in Pittsburgh too. I admire her more and more.
