Gays Turned Away From Super Bowl!
There will be more gays tuning in then anyway.
CBS has denied a gay dating site's bid to broadcast a commercial during the Super Bowl. The network told the Web site that the ad roster was already full, but sources say that a handful of spots still remain unsold!
A spokesperson from ManCrunch.com called the rejection a clear "form of discrimination"and that the network was giving them the "runaround."
Normally, we'd tell them to relax and remind them of the fact that CBS has spent the last few years trying to avoid any kind of controversy (thanks again, Janet!), but we've come to learn that while CBS wouldn't approve Man Crunch's ad, they did accept an anti-abortion spot from the group Focus on the Family that features college football star Tim Tebow and his mother.
What the hell? How did that one sneak through?
We really don't see the big deal with the ad, especially when you compare it's message to that of an anti-abortion one!
Check out the ad and tell us what U think. (above)

Probably because this isn't the right demographic. You don't see beer or Hooter's commercials on Nickelodeon do you?!?
This is a pretty controversial topic, but here's a few quick thoughts:
–For those of you who are offended by Perez's statements, remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
–If you are pro-life, saying that Perez's mother should have aborted him is NOT the way to peacefully advocate.
–I think that commercial seemed a little bit underfunded…maybe if it had more time/money put into it CBS nay have allowed it.
–The one thing everyone seems to be missing is that the Superbowl is a family event. It's the biggest football game of they year, and families enjoy it together. As a supporter of Focus on the Family (who btw would NEVER say anything hateful about homosexual or pro-choice individuals), I can safely say that their commercial will not be graphic…and it's a very current issue considering:
They're supported by Tim Tebow (arguable the greatest NCAA Quarterback right now)
Some of President Obama's initiatives
We've all got different opinions on this…but let's not be hateful in expressing them.
As far as the Tebow ad goes they paid the price they get their ad. As far as this ad goes I'm giving CBS the benifit of the doubt here. Personally i think the add is danm funny and wouldnt mind it being on the superbowl. No worse than the go daddy ads
it's funny in a cute way. they should've accepted it, but not at ALL surprised they didn't. who/where are the openly gay athletes?
lmao!!!! i can see why it was turned away! this commercial is fucken stuuuuuupid! ahahahahaha
Re: whatisaygoes – !!News Flash!! Some gay guys like to watch football. The demographic most targeted by the Super Bowl are MALES and, like it or not, gay men are MALES.
Re: JigSaw – Hey hey, what's good?
Target audience Perez. Use ur brain for once in ur life. The only thing that can go on air is leggy girls with big boobs that serve beer, chips and wings.
chips $3. stupid ass commercial $3million. look on the brother's face priceless!
Re: Sgirl – THANK YOU!!! Finally, a smart American!! I couldn't agree more. Anti-Abortion is a GOOD message and Perez's gay-ass commercial he's bitching about has nothing to do with it.
i dont know any gay men who look or act like that.
ManCrunch?
Seriously….
HA!
Anyway….
Yeah, who cares about a gay commercial.
You are a complete moron if you think ANTI abortion and gay rights topics are the same issue. One has to do with saving a life, the other has to do with protecting a life style. If all moral issues should be avoided when viewing the super bowl, gays and abortion rights should be left out. But to say that gay rights and the act of abortion is on the same par, you are delusional.
Re: akpetmom – That's a very pathetic attempt to try and bring down and insult "religions". 95% of the world believes in some sort of higher power. I really don't think that many people are wrong.
Re: getreal22 – well said
Re: MyOpinionOnly – do you wear a seatbelt? the gov enforces this rule and you abide by it for your protection and to follow the law. While I believe in being pro-life while also agreeing women should be able to choose what to do with their bodies, I say your argument is very weak based on the fact that if you ride a motorcycle you wear a helmet and when you get in a car, you put on a seatbelt
Re: superawesomedave – I'm certain homosexuals would love being called population control….if they have natural tendencies as the rest of us, most will want to reproduce or have children and therefore would not appreciate being called population control, insinuating thay their choices have led to the end of their legacy by not being able to reproduce. They can adopt…geez
Focus on the family is a rightwing hate group. They should never have run a commerical by this dispicable hate group. Secondly for the morons here saying that the gay guys watching football ad is the wrong demographics, I wonder if the ad that's antichoice is the right one if you say they want titts and ass stuff. My opinion is that they should take any add that's willing to pay. I would imagine that the ad with two gay guys watching football is more entertaining than an anti-choice ad paid for by a hate group called focus on the family. Just more bigotry against gay people in a supposedly modern free country.
Re: Marber – If you think people born gay don't deserve equal rights and also think women who want a l choice in getting an abortion are vile you might be happy in Iran where big government religous thugs run the country and agree with you. Radical relgious conservatives in every country are the root of all evil. In Iran and for sure in this country.
Re: m.j – I know being black and uneducated, being a homophobic bitch just comes with the territory. If we can watch apey thugs with rap sheets as long as your nose beating the crap out of each other in the Super Bowl then we can watch this cute simple gay themed commerical.
Re: Honk_If_You_Hate_Perez – Wow hope the Karma you deserve visits your whole family, asshole.
Re: slschmit – I'm not sure a hate group led by a lunatic are the right vehicle to "celebrate life" right? Focus on the family are a rightwing hate group.
Re: GetReal25 – I'm really offened by the rightwing scum in this country taking away all our freedoms. If people like you get your way and there will be no abortions allowed this country will began to self-distruct.
Re: straighticketvoter – Well It's nice to see that morons like you would rely on scientists because so far you evengelical freaks and bigots just cite God without proof for whatever agenda works for you at the time. I guess since scientists and doctors all believe that being gay is something you are born with and since scum like you don't believe it and cite God show me the evidence if not stfu.
Re: KevinK – Wow you are a hateful redneck religous zealot as usual.
Re: TexasBadBoy – Then texas redneck lets not have any ads that are sexually suggestive ,since it is a family show . Just keep watching alcohol and groping women ads while overgrown felons are bashing each other's heads in. Talk about fucked up morals.
Since when being against the killing of babies a bad thing. I will never understand the thought process of the pro abortion movement. Yeah, yeah, I know, the womans right to chose BUT they chose to have sex and murdering an innocent child because you made a mistake, well, that's just selfish. And don't say, well, the baby isn't a baby yet when it is sucked out of the uterus. We ALL know what the fetus will become, a life that you just took because of selfish reasons. The majority of abortions are due to "mistakes" made not because the woman or baby could be harmed, so I don't wanna hear that argument either.
Kudos for CBS being wise and not succumbing to the sexual disorder known as "gay". On average, gay men have 8 times more sex partners than hetero men. The gay lifestyle has a very high rate of permanent disability and death from HIV and other STD's.
Since CBS wouldn't dare take advertising for cigarettes, or promoting use of heroine and meth, their decision makes all the sense in the world.
To all gay men: you don't have to die young being gay. Noboday will feel sorry for you if you kill yourself being gay. Just walk through that door to discover how great the hetero lifestyle is. Is it really fun letting some jerk tear up your rear end???? Put all the gay brainwashing aside and start a new life from scratch. All you have to do is find a woman who isn't a lesbot, a gold digger, or a single-mom wannabe. There are plenty of decent women out there who will make your life lovely and very rewarding experience for the rest of your life — and a long and healthy life at that.
