      It'll look good, but the story will probably ruin it. this is the man that gave us the crapfests: Sleepy Hallow, Planet of the Apes, & Willy Wonka after all…

      The special effects, makeup and costumes look amazing, but sometimes Tim Burton forgets about a well-written plot and script.
      Visuals can't make an entire movie good!
      We'll see!

      Burton is boring. All of his films look exactly the same but always severely lack a good script and using the same actors over and over again gets really lame! Be original for once!

      Re: VGirl – Anne Hathaway's character is the White Queen. I'm not sure if she was in the Disney Alice in Wonderland, as I have never seen that movie. But she is in the Lewis Carroll novel thru the looking glass. and my favorite Alice in Wonderland movie is the 1985 version with the 2nd part, thru the looking glass.
      I am very excited to see this movie! it is one of my favorite novels adapted into a movie. Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors as well… should be a smashing hit!

      I AM STOOOKED BEYOND WORDS…

      ALICE IN WONDERLAND HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME SINCE I WAS LITTLE AND OVER THE YEARS I WATCHED SO MANY INCREDIBLE DISNEY MOVIES LOSE THEIR LUSTER WITH HORRIBLE SEQUELS AND REMAKES… SO NATURALLY I WAS ALWAYS SCARED THEY WOULD DO THE SAME WITH ALICE..

      HOWEVER… I HAVE ALWAYS HOPED IF SOMEONE DARE TOUCH THIS MOVIE/BOOK TO DO A REMAKE.. IT BETTER BE TIM BURTON.. HE IS THE ONLY DIRECTOR WITH THE TALENT AND EYE TO DO THIS LEWIS CARROLL'S CLASSIC STORY JUSTICE.. I AM PLEASED TO SEE THAT HE IS USING MORE OF THE ORIGINAL BOOK AS WELL… CANT WAIT!!!!!!

HE IS A REVOLUTIONARY DIRECTOR AND ONE OF THE ONLY ONES I'VE SEEN WHO REALLY TAKES RISKS WITH HIS ART AND TACKLES THE DIFFICULT MOVIES…HE TRULY IS ONE OF THE BEST DIRECTORS OF ALL TIME!!!!

      YES! YES! YES! So excited about this film, but I'm also really excited to see THE WOLFMAN! I think both are going to be big hits!

      When I saw the trailer for this movie, they kept talking about how alice was back and had to help save them, because the red queen had taken over since her last visit.

      so it seems to me like this isn't a remake, it would be based on the second part of alice. i'm pretty excited about this movie. burton does use a lot of the same actors in his films, but they are so versatile that it's not at all the same characters over and over again.
