R. Kelly Makes A Claim On MJ's Estate!

Although R. Kelly's people are only making a claim for $3,000 which is considerably smaller than some of the others.
Univeral Music Publishing Group executives are alleging that they were never paid for Michael Jackson's usage of "Ignition" during his 2003 TV Show Michael Jackson's Private Home Movies.
Universal owns the rights to the 2002 record and they have attached a contract to their creditor's claim to show the fee.
Sounds like MJ's estate might have to pay up!

OMG is he serious??? Michael was on vacation, in a car, with the song on the radio, he was dancing to it, and it was being recorded by his friend. That is one of the dumbest things that I have ever heard. So, I guess anytime a MJ song is played at a wedding, party, funeral or any other gathering that might be caught on tape then Michael's estate should go hit up all those people for cash??!! Wow. Obviously from 2003 up until June 25, 2009 his record label must have adored the fact that Michael was dancing to an R Kelly song. Once that aired I'm sure R Kelly's sales for "Ignition" went up even more. They have already made enough money off of Michael when he liked R Kelly's songs and recorded them. Good enough. They should take that $3000 and shove it!
