Pink Almost Lost Her Balance During Aerial Grammy Awesomeness
We can't believe she had the balls to do it once, let alone every night on tour!!
Pink is pretty much the most hardcore person on the planet and put on an absolutely AMAZING acrobatic performance at the Grammy Awards last night while singing COMPLETELY live.
But apparently the stunts were almost too much for her.
"When I do it [on tour], I don't have lights above me. Tonight, there were lights above me, so it almost went into a strobe thing, and I actually did get a little turned around. I thought … I was going to fall on my nude butt. But I worked it out. I would say that no one ever has another excuse to lip sync."
AGREED. If she can belt it out while spinning upside down in mid-air, then we don't want to hear about any 'acid reflux' from, ahem, anyone!

OK………The part of Pink's song there where she sings "sugar" is a complete rip-off of Tori Amos' song "Sugar"…….just saying! Other than that, I will say that Pink has only had one song that I thought amazing, BUT after seeing this performance, I give her PROPS! Damn, she is tight, tough and titillating…….kudos, bravo and hats off!

How come all the female singers sing the same way today? This is what I hate about garbage like American Idol and the whole music industry. They all sing the same way and it`s all this mediocre music. It`s because of MTV this nonsense. They are the ones who started it, because if you look before that you had people like Debby Harry, Olivia Newton John, Carole King, all female singers who had great songs and completely different types of voices and singing styles. After 1981 when MTV started, image took over and everything got categorized and these stupid unsaid rules were put in place. This is utter crap what she is doing here.
Lip-synching is a crutch, and the Australians were right to boo Britney Spears when she did it. And Elton John was correct to call out that phony Madonna for her pre-recorded shows.
Whatever happened to artistic integrity?

Pink is so freaking amazing. She has a gorgeous voice, originality and is beautiful inside and out. I think she's underrated. And seriously, she was able to sing live while spinning around and around and around. Didn't you think when she finally landed and started walking, she would stagger?

Pink & Lady Gaga are TRUE entertainers. They SING their songs and dance (or hang upside down and spin) at the same time. These are TRUE artists and entertainers. No lip syncing for these beauties.

Pink did not wear this outfit just for the grammys AB, it is the costume that she wore for the song when she toured Australia for several months last year.
If you thought that it was awesome that she sung on the silks, then you would be amazed to see her sing whilst on a trapeze.
As for the acrobatics, her tour was called Funhouse and was based on a circus theme.

OK. I really liked Pink's Funhouse album. Very introspective and a little combative and a little fun… but this performance was amazing. I always liked this song, now I love it. She is a true entertainer…. Yes, Gaga was good, but Pink blew everyone away…. and yes, she got her point across…. she may not have won any awards, but she is amazeballs and a force that I think is just hitting her prime. After watching this performance 5 times, I am still amazed! Way to go PINK….. I am your newest true blood fan!!!

I missed the Grammies but so glad u posted this. This was an AMAZING performance. I agree now that no performer should lip synce. You can obviously do an amazing show and sing at the same time if your a good performer. Britney leaves the dancing to your backup dancers and the help surounding you, just sing. If pink can do it others should be able to also. I've never been a big pink fan but kudos on this show. TRUELY AMAZING.

Circus performers will not even allow you to do the types of stunts in the air without a trampoline or mat present until you have been doing it for several years

Expect this time around she won't be underrated. Now eventhough other artists haven't done the same flying in the sky singing live act, doesn't make just want to only watch Pink and no one else. Every artist is entertaing in their own right. and lyp sincing is not so bad. As Long as it's their voice on the tape and no no ones else's than that's fine. She was totally fearless, she sang beautifully, UPSIDE DOWN, while SPINNING, fast, while water would have been running up her nose, while she would have been feeling definitely queasy with motion sickness, while her breathing would have been affected by all the exertions of her fantastic gymnastic performance, while her nerves would have been screaming out "I'm thirty feet above the floor with NO SAFETY NET, held only by this bit of cloth I've wrapped round one leg."
Pink absolutely ruled the Grammys. And she did it all in killer heels and with the threat of her skimpy outfit slipping aside to reveal her foo-foo to the crowds below (and the millions on TV). I never really rated Pink before her Grammy performance. She's a GODDESS!!!!!

Amaxing, amazing, amazing! But then I always knew that about Pink and her vocal abilities. She is hands down one of THE best entertainers out there now. My 11 year old loves listening to all her albums on my Ipod! (It's one of the few that she can without cussing or bad lyrics)
