Sad! Etta James Struggling With Alzheimer's Disease!
How awful!
We mentioned last week that legendary jazz performer, Etta James, was rushed to the hospital. Her son explained to the press that she was fine, but now, he has an update and it isn't good news.
Not only is she suffering from a terrible infection and a superbug, but it has been revealed through her son that Etta has been battling Alzheimer's disease for the better part of the last year. Because of the disease and her declining health, when Etta recovers, she will be transferred to a nursing home to help with her combative tendencies and confusion.
We can't imagine how frightening this is for both Etta and her family. We just hope she feels better very soon and we send our well wished to those who are helping her in this most difficult time.

ITS A SHAME THAT ETTA JAMES NEVER WON A GRAMMY FOR "AT LAST" YET SWAGGER JACKER BEYONCE DID AT LAST NITE'S AWARD SHOW. THE THING IS HER VERSION WAS A STRAIGHT COVER, NOTHING NEW OR ANYTHING MODIFIED. YET ETTA JAMES SANG THIS SONG THE BEST. HER VERSION ON DWTS LAST YEAR WAS BETTER THAN BEYAAAAWNCE. WHAT A TRAVESTY THE MUSIC INDUSTRY HAS BECOME WHERE THEY REWARD POPULARITY OVER SUBSTANCE AND ORIGINALITY.

The doctors should check her liver instead of her head. Her skin looks like she has liver disease.

My grandfather has Alzheimer too. When this shit ( =A) broke out, I was scared to death, mainly because he didn't regognize us anymore. But with the right meds he is his old self again
you can slower / stop the process. He is doing fine , really great. And I am so grateful for that!

My dad has alzheimer's. Its not easy, I wish them the best.
Maybe you should apologize, then for talking that MAD SHIT about her when she laid into Beyonce. Even though, in my opinion, that was a moment of clarity.

With proper regulation of her daily nutrition, plus clearing up her infection and superbug, she will vastly improve. That's when they'll actually know for certain whether Etta truly has Alzheimer's or not.
