This is UNBELIEVABLE!!
Since the viral video of Filipino prison inmates dancing to "Thriller" was posted on-line back in July, it's received over 10 million views.
To celebrate the DVD release of the late Michael Jackson documentary This Is It, Jackson's choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid went to the Cebu Provincial Dentention and Rehabilitation Center and staged this FANTASTIC dance tribute to the pop star with 1500 inmates to "They Don't Really Care About Us."

And exactly how is this costing anyone anything idiot? The dancers donated their time, and oh, I don’t think the prisoners were going anywhere in any case. Maybe this is a case of creating an uplifting and positive environment. Perhaps try that sometime.

Michael didn't need the guys multiplied on the screen in THIS IS IT, he could've just gotten these people. They're amazing and know every step, its just like how Michael was creating it. Only the greatest entertainer of all time could have so many dedicated fans ALL OVER THE WORLD. That whole prision must people MJ fans, they all have their shirts and stuff. I hope I can take part in that Thriller dance that the fans did all over the world last year, I forgot what its called but along with starting my acting career I would like to be a part of a large and important MJ tribute.

It's great to see these guys doing something productive with their time. It's also cool that they managed to get so many people involved!
I grew up in the Philippines up until high school. It is common in the schools for them to make you do these types of field demonstrations/ group dancing type stuff ( i absolutely hated it). Filipinos in general LOVE Michael Jackson. MJ is somewhat of an icon for them. Well, Manny Pacquiao is the new icon now.
This video is for entertainment purposes, so let's not take it seriously. I was quite entertained !

I thought it was cool that the choreographer and two of his dancers did that (the front three in all black, no orange pants). I wonder how long it took to get it all in order. Also, for those of you who think prisoners shouldn't be doing this, as if it's a reward - did ya happen to think how much easier it is to run a prison with calm prisoners rather than violent ones? Exercise vents aggression, promotes healthy sleep and eating habits, and general health that decreases medical costs and hospital wings. Plus it keeps em damn busy and occupied. And this looks cool.

this is exploitation at it's fucking worst. make a lot of people without, apprantly, any right dance for you. force them. leave them no choice. most of the prisoners in there is not murderers, rapists and pedophiles. many of them are in there because of small crimes etc. i feel sorry for those who actually are innocent or haven't done anything that is really bad, and who have to go through witht his wether they like it or not. it's disgusting. really, really is. and michael jackson? dancing for someone who might have been a pedophile? now THAT is disgusting.

God bless Michael and his kids. The Grammys' highlighted was the tribute to MJ and the Earth Song and his beautiful two kids. Overall, the Grammys sucked. I think Taylor swift destroyed her career. And Beyonce is overrated. Gaga was great though. Music has been slowly dying since Michael passed - it all sounds the same. He was truly unique.
