Aniston Hosts Haiti Relief Event

A-list friends unite! Time for another Haiti relief event!
A rep for Jennifer Aniston confirmed that the actress will be hosting a benefit screening of The Last Station to raise money for AmeriCares and its efforts in Haiti.
The event will take place later this month and will include a cocktail reception following the screening with the director. Tickets for the event range in price from $100 per ticket to $50,000.
Sounds like a very Hollywood way to help Haiti.

In my opinion Americans didn't give so much money for Katerina because I think that United States could handle this situation If George Bush shaked this ass soon enough to help ppl. And don't forget that USA is the richest coutnry in the world whereas Haïti is probably one of poorest country in the world.

Re: TasteMyRainbow – Many countries ( Germany, for example) offered help. The US tried to ignore them , due to pride. The reaction from US was " we have everything under contol ". Cuba, which has excellent doctors, and more than they need, offered about 60 doctors, US categorically refused. If you lived in Europe , you would have seen all this on TV. The US ignored every offer of aid from abroad.

Many foreign rescue groups just weren't allowed in by uniforms with guns for days after they had arrived. As to the whereabouts of all that international aid, you tell me what's been done with all of that money. You made the statement. Start digging.
