We can hear the theme song now and imagine the whole Tanner brood running over the hill!

The San Francisco home featured in Full House located in Alamo Square on Postcard Row is up for sale.

Homes in the area go for about $1.5 million, but we think owning Danny Tanner's house would be priceless.

We'd be inviting sexy John Stamos over for dinner every Sunday in hopes he'd perform with Jesse and the Rippers in the living room!

OMG I'd put my bedroom in the attic, cuz that's where uncle Jesse lived. SWOON!

  2. 2

Exactly which house in that picture is it?
Given the California real estate market, my guess it's just shy of foreclosure.

  3. 3

Did they actually film IN the house or was it just used for the opening credits?

  4. 4

thats not where they filmed it.. they filmed the last shot of the credits on a diffrerent street in san fran. this street picture above was just another screen shot for the credits.

  5. 5

OMG I AM SOOOOO BUYING THIS HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (first comment EVER ha!)

  6. 6

That's not even one of the painted ladies. That house is located at 722 Steiner St, which was not one of the houses used in the opening credits. And the show was not filmed in any of the painted ladies on Steiner St.

  7. 7

the real house that they screened shot is the one in my picture

  8. RJane says – reply to this

    8

This isnt the house that they used for outside screen shots. That house is located at 1709 Broderick Street. This is just one on the row of houses that appear in the picnic scene in Alamo Park.

  9. 9

so want to live there :)

  10. 10

Yeah, besides the fact that this is not the house, there is NO way it's going for 1.5 million. more like 4 million. do your research.

  11. 11

The home is selling for $4 million …. a much more accurate estimate for this 'hood.

  12. 12

it's not their house… the house the filmed the outside of was on broderick street, that was just a shot of them with the painted ladies behind it…

  13. 13

like the inside of the house looks ANYTHING like the set….. remember that show, the door is on one side in the front pic and in the house…. it is in the middle of the room…. NOTHING LIKE THAT HOUSE..

  14. 14

its fake cuz its a set dont belive perez

  15. 15

$1.5 mill seems a bit cheap for SF

  16. 16

Haha whoo nice news reporting 1709 Broderick St San Francisco, CA correct the one they are showing on that other gossip site is WRONG!! Sucks for them more than you. Still I'd take this house as well and I bet the owners are thrilled for the publicity.

  17. 17

SORRY BUT NONE OF THOSE HOUSES ARE THE HOUSE THAT FULL HOUSE USED IN THEIR OPENING…THE HOUSE THEY USED WAS A FLAT TOP VICTORIAN THAT WAS LOCATED IN THE AVENUES BEHIND TWIN PEAKS….THE HOMES YOU ARE SHOWING ARE FAMOUS GINGERBREAD VICTORIANS THAT HAVE BEEN FAMOUS FOR YEARS IT IS LOCATED IN ALAMO SQUARE NEAR DIVISADERO STREET. SO FOR ALL THAT THINK THIS IS THE HOUSE…IT IS NOT! LOOK AGAIN AT THE OPENING CREDITS..THE HOUSES ARE IN THE BACKROUND OF ALAMO PARK, WHERE THEY ARE HAVING A PINIC…..LOOK THRUGHOUT THE PROGRAM WHEN THEY GO TO COMMERCIALS…THAT IS THE REAL HOUSE…THESE ARE IN THE BACKROUND OF THE PARK (ALAMO PARK) THEY ARE VISITING!

  18. 18

ALSO THE PAINTED LADIES ARE IN ONE OF SAN FRANCISCOS WORSE NEIGHBORHOODS, NEAR DIVISADERO STREET, WHERE DRUGS RUN RAMPANT! THE HOUSE THE TANNERS LIVED IN IS IN THE AVENUES!

  19. 19

Re: hateliars – THIS IS NOT THE HOUSE!

  20. 20

    AMEN! I LOVE Full House! = )

  21. 21

this house was used in ONE only episode! "the property was featured in one episode in which the family picnicked in front of it. "
    over-priced fail.

  22. 22

Hey, Barbara, they only used the house for EXTERIOR shots. The rest they shot on a sound stage.

  23. 23

The link above where it says "for sale" says the house is up for $4.1 million and only part of one episode was shot outside this house.

  24. 24

lol i wish i could live there it would be awesssomme lol

  25. 25

I would love to see my familiar friends waiting just around the bend.
    Kimmie!

  26. 26

1.5 million? Yea right. As someone who lives here I'll bet you that those houses sell for way more.

  27. 27

I thought it was filmed in front of a live audience…how is it possible to fit an audience in a townhouse?…

  28. 28

    that's awesome haha

  29. 29

that's not the full house house!

What you meant to say is that a house on postcard row is selling that was in the OPENING montage.

  30. 30

Aw. I loved that show when I was a little girl, esp the song. And family matters.

  31. 31

The Painted Ladies are all over. Not just ONE neighborhood. My grandparents house is one of them and it is on Washington Avenue.

  32. 32

Yeah this is NOT the house 1709 Broderick is the Full House House. This is the place where they had the picnic. You can look it up on wikipedia or IMBD. I've been there.

  33. 33

I grew up across the street from there! Played in that park damn near every day.

  34. 34

Beautiful home, but they won't get near 4 mill for it (and they are asking 4 mill — other homes nearby are valued at 1.5 +/-. It's just too big a $# for that neighborhood, painted lady row or not.

  35. 35

I would love to own that house. Was a very beautiful home.

  36. 36

oh, and its up for $4 million not 1.5 million. San Fran is expensive. Thats why all the cool people live in Oakland!

  37. 37

    i want this

  38. 38

I thought the Tanner house was a prop at the studio? The pic of the house was just in the opening credit of the show you idiot!

  39. 39

the actual listing is on hotpads.com! if you search for alamo square in the for sale section.

  40. 40

the house they used isnt actuaully on postcard row! its actuaully on broderick st!!

  41. 41

Id buy this in a heartbeat if I had the money :(
