On explaining the Tiger scenario:
"Tiger Woods' problems come from him being married. The end. It has nothing to do with control. If Tiger Woods was a single guy, what sort of angle would there be to a text message? If Tiger Woods was single, and he texted a girl and said 'I wanna wear your ass like a hat', why would that ever hit the news?"On his personal sexting:

He has amazing guitar skills (MJ's memorial he played Right Here on electric guitar), he has won dozens of awards for being a singer AND songwriter and had top songs of the decade with Daughters and Your Body is a Wonderland. You know "music" like pop music, I'd bet my foot you didn't know who Yanni or Trans-Siberian Orchestra or Ben Harper or Jack Johnson or Fuel or Rage or any great band that doesn't have label songwriters churning out manufactured hits and images.

If you think all he has done is poppy stuff, then you have only listened to what's on the radio. I named his top sales songs, but he has some amazing and original jazz riffs, some blues and even some rock. Expand your horizon outside of what you find in the first result in search. Mayer has been compared by legends to other legends and many have said in their interviews that Mayer has set a whole new bar on originality.
