It's gone 2010, but we love the classic!
In order to celebrate its 75th anniversary, Hasbro announced that they are launching an updated version of the famed Monopoly.
The game, which is due out later this year, will have circular board and the cash will no longer exist. Players will be given a chip and pin credit card. And a central console, similar to a credit machine, will play banker.
Will U be playing the travesty new Monopoly?!

NOOO, the OG version is the best. I've tried to play newer versions that use an ATM type card and it's just not the same!

Can we get any dumber? Our high school aged kids can't even make change in Monopoly. If they do it all by machine, I feel like there is zero learning aspect to this game.

Would someone like to explain to me what happened to EDUCATIONAL games??? The whole point of Monopoly was teaching kids to count, make change and understand money without making them realize it! Ugh! What is this world coming to!?!

God forbid kids should learn how to actually add and count money. Let the calculator do it for them. (????) I work in the educational system and the kids are dumber than ever. Even still… they can't figure out how to use the flippin' calculator sometimes! Truly sad.

I like old school Monopoly with the silver dog, top hat and racing car. Plus it's so much easier to cheat.
what a great way to teach young kids that the answer to financial problems are debit cards and rectangular pieces of plastic….and a calculator? Don't get me started. Way to go Hasbro.

COOL! Although the old monopoly will forever be in my heart, I kinda hated keeping track of all my money. I just hope they leave all the other stuff like "go to jail", park place and all the other stuff.
