Brittany Murphy Memorial Postponed!

The memorial that Brittany Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, had planned to throw tomorrow night has been called off, but Monjack isn't giving a reason.
The party was to benefit his new Brittany Murphy Foundation which he says is dedicated to arts education for children. Monjack was seeking $1,000 donations from each attendee.
Supposedly Monjack has just postponed instead of canceling the event, but a new date has yet to be set.
The whole operation sounded pretty sketchy — maybe his conscience got the best of him?

she was such a beautiful, sweet, charming girl. really unfortunate that she got mixed up with him. sad. he needs to just disappear; he has no reason to keep pushing himself forward into the media other than trying to make money off of her memory. and that's just gross.
