      That image is a shameless rip-off of - if not down right copy of - the Annie Leibovitz "Last Supper" shot of The Sopranos cast, which was taken a few years ago.

      If Leibovitz is tight on cash as has been reported, she sure has a powerful copyright infringement lawsuit against everyone involved in the creation and use of this "Lost" photograph.

      I'd sue their balls loose if it were my image being hi-jacked.

      Friends:

      I probably shouldn't have posted my earlier comment. My thinking was a point-of-view from a person who makes their living with photography. I've done well enough to buy a home on an acre of wooded land from my work just last year. I mention that to convey that I am an okay photographer after having worked just over 20 years in the field.

      The laws governing photography are sometimes complex and often can be interpreted in a number of ways.

      If what I posted seemed stupid, it is probably because it was stupid. Working within the law can be a real pain and someone like myself is left always arguing over procedures and protocol. Theft and copyright infingringement in this business is rife. It can be a frustrating career. And too often, when I see an image, I am looking at the photographer's set-up, lighting, and ingenuity which leads me to sometimes make a comment that seems like it is non-sensical.

      My apologies to anyone who felt I wasted their time. I guess I was just "thinking out loud," so to speak.

      Last season's episodes are being re-run on weeknights here, so I'm catching up (or is that becoming more confused? -hard to say) with last season, before the last seaosn kicks off soon. Bring the last season on, I say - loving Lost!

      All the "recapping" of this show really sucks and is so irritating, making you wait for the actual new episodes to start, prevents me from even watching. Just play the damn movie already!!!

      So disappointed in this first episode of the final season. The acting just sucked. The cast was just phoning it in. I certainly hope they get better after all the time I've invested in this tv show.

      The show's producers have admitted that creative difficulties began as early as the third season and that from that season forward they have worked towards wrapping up the series. I give them credit for knowing when it is time to wrap up a project.
      I love the show but I think it is time to end things hopefully on a high note.
