      Each woman must make a CHOICE that is right for them, and she did that. The government should NEVER have a say it what a woman chooses to do. All she is saying is she chose not to abort her child after doctors told her she should, so what’s the big deal? It’s not like she is saying abortion is bad, or you are going to hell if you do so, all she is saying is she made a choice NOT to abort. And for some of you so called Pro-Choice people you obviously can’t stand the fact that there are two sides to every choice.

      If you are offended that she CHOSE life then you needs to go back and re-think what Pro Choice REALLY means. I think after you all actually WATCH the commercial you re going to walk away feeling stupid.

      Who cares? Tim Tebow feels strongly about the issue, his mother was urged to abort him and didn't because of her beliefs. I'm pro-choice, but the thought of abortion really does horrify me. I don't have any right to tell someone else what to do, but I can express my opinion.

      This is a little off-topic, but here goes: many commenters have pointed out that a fetus is not legally considered a person and therefore does not have the right to life and can be terminated at the mother's choosing. I think it is a sad sad thing that terrorists, rapists, murderers have greater rights than unborn children. Most places in the world they can't be executed, and where they can be they are entitled to due process, trials and appeals first. Legally, a criminal's right to life is sacred but a fetus' isn't. Does that seem backwards to anyone else?

      Re: rmh426 – You do have a very valid point. I'm not a doctor so I don't know when "life" begins. However, the reality of our world is that there are too many people having babies NOW that shouldn't. Making abortions illegal won't stop them it will make it more difficult and more horrendous. Then there will be more and more and more unwanted children all of the time. We can't take proper care of our people the way things are now. Can you imagine if women couldn't get an abortion when they have an unwanted pregancy? What happens to that kid that nobody wanted? Really??
      Sex ain't gonna stop whether safe or not and idiots ain't gonna stop reproducing so sadly it is a fact of life. A woman has to have the right to choose!

      I myself would not have an abortion, but I understand that someone else might. This is one issue the Government should leave alone. If abortions were made illegal many desperate young women would go "underground" to get the job done. This leads the potential of not only the fetus dying, but the mother too. At least now we can regulate it. Although I must admit I do love the Three Blind Mice jingle.

      There are tons of countries in the world where you're still allowed to drive without fasten your seatbelts.. (even though that would be hell of stupid).. and there are many countries where you are allowed to inject narcotics or take drugs. E.g. Alcohol is forbidden in Lybia (it is illegal to have alcohol on your port when you are in a lybian habour) but it is absolutly legal to smoke pot or to inject forms of opium.

      So.. I know americans tend to see the US as the center of the world, the country No. 1 and right in every way (particularly concerning terrorism, no social health, weapons, ont he outside we're supoer sonversative and have no sex before we're married but on the inside we all marry when we're 20, drive drunk more often than any others.. etc.)… all in all.. there exist countries where everything is allowed. Including abortion!

      Amerlizzle, I think you are missing my point. The point I was making is that for years anti-life forces in THIS country like NARAL and Planned Parenthood have perpetuated the lie that unlimited, unrestricted access to abortion on demand should be legal because women have a right to control their own bodies. As I pointed out in my previous post, no such right exists in THIS country. If you don't like it, then move somewhere else. No one is stopping you. But if you want to justify the legalization of abortion on demand don't lie by claiming that women have some sort of right to control their own body because they don't and neither do men. If we did there wouldn't be seat belt laws, laws against prostitution, laws against illegal narcotics, etc. So can you provide a logical and honest reason why there should be unrestricted, unlimited access to abortion on demand in THIS country?

What are you talking about? Where are you talking about? "Now they have to prove they were raped before they can abort?" Where is that? By the way, did you know that the occurrence of pregnancy in all rapes is less than 5%? Is that justification for unlimited, unrestricted access to abotion on demand? Really? Your bumper sticker admonition at the end of your post reminds me that those who lived in Central Europe in the 30s and 40s and were sympathetic to the Nazis probably would have said the same thing to those defending the right to life of Jews.
