After winning six Grammy Awards on Sunday, Beyowulf reportedly approached rock band Kings of Leon and suggested they collaborate on a track together!!
A source says:
“Beyonce looked stunning and was chatting to virtually every major star on hand. She kissed Kings of Leon on their cheeks and congratulated them on winning an award for Use Somebody. They were chatting for ages. She knows how huge they are in the UK and loves their album. She was scouting for people to collaborate with and has been talking about doing something different with a rock band. Kings of Leon would be perfect.”
Agreed! Kudos to both for experimenting with their respective sounds, we can't imagine this to be a duet that would disappoint!!

i hadn't realized KOL has been underground for years and has had something like 4 albums out……with that said, to collab w/ "Bey" would (I imagine) be disappointing to their fans. I like most of what I've heard from KOL and I can't stand "Bey" so I hope they don't………

i consider myself a huge kings of leon fan, but the reason i'm skeptical about this is because i've never really liked a song the beyonce's done a duet on. I don't mind her on her own, but I just don't think she collaborates very well.
I can't imagine KOL doing it either; sounds like something they might've said in drunken jest at an afterparty, or another rumor like the the record label one.
I tried to remember if I liked Kings of Leon, then I heard that song "Use Somebody" and decided in fact that no, I'm not really a fan.

i am not sure how i feel about this one…i have to admit that i would be curious to hear the track if they ever did one together, but beyonce is just an opportunist. she will latch on the hottest artist(s) just to stay relevant. what happened to this "break" from music that she was supposed to be taking?

The only thing beyonce needs to have a collaboration with is that weave of hers. Why is she such a media whore to stalk hot artist of the moment? She's clearly desperate and doesn't know what to do to stay on the spotlight. Why not focus on her own music instead but then again its the same shit over and over again. Well Beyonce and Gaga collaborated on two songs. Videophone was a massive failure and Telephone is moving very slowly for a Gaga single.
There also would be absolutely nothing original about this. Mary J did this with both U2 and Maroon 5 (she only collaborates with bands with numbers in their names apparently) to awesome effect.
She should do all of us a favor and collaborate with a speeding bus.

dudes.. i LOVE kings, i've been to their concert and am obsessed with them they are so talented.. i think beyonces cool too but she just wants TOO much attention.. i reaaaaaaaaaally dont think it would be a good combination they are SO different, just because use somebody is a mainstream song doesnt mean thats all they are their essence is so much more than that
i just think that if there would be a collaboration the HEART of kings wouldnt be there.. theyre not meant to be compared with her
