Hey New York! Guess what?
The Real Housewives of New York City is losing one of it's fine, upstanding cast members.
Alex McCord and her hubby Simon van Kempen have not been asked back for the fourth season of the Bravo show. Why you may ask?
Well, if you frequently watch the show, you know what a pain in the ass Simon was and the producers no longer wanted to do business with him. Apparently, he threw a "hissy fit" when he wasn't given the same paycut as the other cast members (aka the wives). But a source from the show confesses that it was more than just Simon'a antics that did them in. The sources says:
"Viewers don't have a positive reaction to them, so they're easily replaceable at this point. Also, they don't really fit in with the other wives. All of the other women's story lines have interwoven, yet Alex and Simon have kept theirs separate. It isn't nearly as interesting as the other Housewives'."
No one wants to watch a boring housewife, certainly not anyone we know!
Tough break, losers. Enjoy the fame of the third season while it lasts!

They actually seemed like good parents to me but other then that they were so phony…they claim to be so rich but instead what we see is them swimming in some blow-up pool in their yard and in another scene they have to rent a house in the Hampton's because they apparently can't afford one on their own.
To bad they were the humor in the show. I will miss these jackasses.
Who wants to see anyone that names their poor kid "Francoise"? So pretentious, besides, she looks like skeletor and he wears Speedos. Orange County wives are the best. The rest are just annoying

To be honest, I won't miss them one bit. Now if Bravo booted Jill or Ramona I would be sad. Can't wait for the new season to start!!!

Re: frizbe – Yes.. I did think that they were good parents. They actually carved pumpkins and decorated with their kids instead of leaving nannies to do it all…they did try to remodel that apartment with not too much success but at least they tried.

I think I saw that show ONCE. That guy is a total 'Mo. And….. "we" sure as heck don't want him.
there is not one likeable person on that show, but these two are quite possibly the most pretentious poseurs ever!
I will miss these 2. They were so off the wall, that they were entertaining to watch! I guess now I will have to rely on crazy ramona to do something shocking!
I never understood why they were on the show in the first place… They dont' even seem rich.. Their place was a dump and then they re-did it and it looked soooooo tacky.. HAHAHAHAHAHA Ciao losers!

I have to say I'm going to miss these two wackadoo's. It's not that I like them but, I loved to watch the craziness that seemed to follow them everywhere they went.

Well if their lives were "so seperate" I think this would make them elegible to hold their own show apart from The Housewives of Orange County. I found them amusing and interesting as the show may have edited and indicated they were seeking socialite status.
