Lil Wayne Looking Forward To Jail
Looks like Lil Wayne's past has finally caught up with the rapper.
Wayne is set to report to prison next Tuesday to serve a yearlong sentence for his felony gun possession charge.
If you recall, Wayne was arrested back in July 2007 in NYC when cops found a .40-caliber handgun in his tour bus.
But don't feel too bad for the idiot, according to Wayne, going to jail is all God's doing as he believes everything happens for a reason.
Really? God wants you to go to jail for having a gun on you? Wouldn't God have wanted you not to have the gun in the first place then?
Adds Wayne about the whole situation on being locked up for a year, "I don't like to stop. I believe you stop when you die."
And forget about getting advice or tips from anyone about going to jail.
Wayne says, "This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that's like. I just say I'm looking forward to it."

from people whom probably went in with different mindsets and different reasons as to why they were sentenced to jail time. Maybe he is looking forward to it with a mindset of what jail is supposed to be, a solitary confinement to advance in ones own life and ponder on their past mistakes and how to better themselves. He had a gun in his bus, did he have the intention of using it? I really would like to think he didn't, and it was all for show to enhance the rapper image. Either way, I think he will re-emerge eager and ready to embrace the future and bring great collaborations and a powerful body of work for our ears.
