Tyler Perry Sued Over Devil Song!

Tyler Perry is being sued by songwriter Johnny Tyrone Stringfield because of unauthorized use of his lyrics on an episode of Meet the Browns.

"The Devil thought he had me … but I got away," sang several characters on the show, which is from Stringfield's I Got Away.

Unfortunately, Perry and the companies behind the show have not paid up! The gospel singer is asking for over $100,000 to keep things copacetic.

Madea could afford it!

These people all know about unauthorized use, but they do it anyway. Ask permission. Pay up.

Re: Rosebud – Yes, I'M the uneducated one because I don't laugh at a man dressed up like a fat black woman, talking in Ebonics. You're so right…… I'm sure you're the kind of person who would start a fight in a Chuck E Cheese.

Well, I'm educated enough to know what sarcasm is, and obviously you don't. And calling me a "freak!", that's the best you can do? You're not worth my time.
