Lil' Wayne's Rebirth dropped yesterday and it's looking to bring in only 140 - 150K in its first-week sales.

Not too shabby for some, but compared to Weezy's 2008 Tha Carter III that brought in $1 million during the first week it's a MAYJAH drop in sales!

Did U buy Rebirth yet? What do U think of the new album?

      Most people probably aren't buying it because 1. there's free downloads of the songs EVERYWHERE and 2. because all songs were leaked early and his new album bombs…so who would wanna go out and buy it?

      I think there hasn't been a great promotional push behind him from his label and his album is going to suffer from that. This last leg of his tour was also not well promoted in cities, and that also is really going to effect the outcome of his album sales. He may have a rough start, but i think people aren't sick f listening to him…no one gets sick of actual talent. Sales will pick up, I plan on getting my copy this week.

      In my opinion, lil wayne is one of the best out there. He's not your typical rapper and hes very original and most people credit him for that. Comparing the younger lil wayne to the lil wayne now, you can tell hes really grown up and is showing his true colors. Everything from his style to his music he has made it his own and has chose to avoid the same old rap scene that we all see in every other rapper. If you ask me hes very smart at what he does, he knows what will get him higher then the average rapper. His new CD may not be his best CD but I see it as his own way of finding out who he is as an artist. Hes experiementing with his art.
      And as for the ones who judge his appearence:
      he is his own person, he will be who he wants to be just like all of us.
      we all are who we are because thats who we want to be so be kind and dont judge a book by its cover, you wouldnt want someone judging you that way.
