Previously Unreleased Marilyn Monroe Photos Now Available!!

We're shocked there's still unreleased photos of her after almost 50 years, but they keep emerging!
Photographs of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe have just been released that were taken only 9 months before her tragic death.
Photographer Len Steckler shot the photos in December of 1961 when Monroe arrived unexpectedly at his apartment to visit their mutual friend, Pulitzer-prize winning poet Carl Sandburg, and depict the starlet talking and laughing in pointed, thick-rimmed sunglasses.
Steckler claims Sandburg merely mentioned they would be having a vistor, and continued to say:
"Hours later I went to open the door and there I was face to face with Marilyn Monroe, and she looked more ravishing than on the screen. She said 'I am sorry I am late. I was at the hairdressers, matching my hair to Carl's.' As we know, Marilyn loved older men, she loved the intellectuals — and Carl was very parental with her. It was a lovely thing to see. It was serendipitous with these two icons in their moment and me there with my camera."
Steckler's son recently found the negatives of the collection, which Steckler had forgotten about, and decided to print and release them for "the current generation." The photos will range from $1,999 to $3,999.
It's good to see her laughing and having a nice time so close to her tragic death!!

What is this, the twelfth release of new M.M. photos, or a new book about her? She belonged to another era. Leave her be.
and you asked if Michael Jackson will fade away
Marylin will never fade away
icons never do.
she was soo beautiful with a bubbly personality
lalalalalalooooooove herrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Love Love Love
A great picture of a beautiful woman with REAL curves.
blockbuster has marliyn monroe pictures for $8.99 eight dollars and ninety nine cent -20.oo dollars blockbuster in montclair much more afforardable they had alot during the gossip girl sale out and they have plenty more
The woman is a immortal Goddess…probably the most iconic female of all time. I remember reading in a book how her alarm clock was set for the next morning the night she allegedy "killed herself" with a voice wake-up call in her own voice saying "wake up Marilyn, it's time to go to New York"….I still think the circumstances related to her death are beyond strange. Why would she set her alarm if she was going to OD? She was on the verge of a major career comeback, lost a ton of weight and seemed happy. Love live the ultimate icon.
She was so pretty!
but so was Michael Jackson but not as pretty as Marilyn.
Wow This made my day!!!
I Love it it
what a SEXY Lady
my #1 FOREVER
she was gorgeous, but i find it rly funny that our beauty standards have changed so much so quickly, cuz today, she'd probably be criticized for being overweight, when rly shes just beautiful/curvy.
for some reason i always thought she was stick thin, but i see she is voluptuous and curvy…it would be great if sex icons of today were the same, then many girls would not have eating disorders
Gorgeous photos. She's the most photogenic woman ever. I don't think I've ever seen a bad picture of her!
Re: blahblah12 – YOUR RIGHT ICONS LIKE THEM NEVER FADE AWAY 50 YEARS AFTER HER DEATH PEOPLE STILL GIVE A SHIT
Oh Marilyn, beautiful & earnest & damaged…none will ever come close to your star.
Often imitated Never duplicated
omg, she was an absolute GODDESS. A true icon
Re: Marilyn Monroe – Mine too! So moved by this. Love the hair comment. She had a sense of humor too.
MARILYN MONROE WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE THE MOST ICONIC GORGEOUS NICEST AND GLAMOROUS SUPERSTAR HOLLYWOOD EVER CREATED. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER, OTHER THEN MYSELF OF COURSE
MARILYN MONROE IS # 1
Another washed up booze popping emotional trainwreck actress.
Now those are some curves she has and she looks amazing, unlike Cowriah Carey who wants to be Marilyn and instead of looking this good looks really fat.
MARILYN MONROE WAS MURDERED……ALL THE BASTARDS THAT KILLED HER ARE NOW DEAD AND I HOPE SHE IS BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF THEM ….SHE WAS SO PURE AND SWEET AND KIND.. I HAVE READ EVERY BOOK ABOUT HER AND HAVE EVEN MET PEOPLE THAT HAVE MET HER OR WORKED WITH HER. THEY ALL SAY SHE WAS THE KINDEST PERSON AND MOST GIVING PERSON . I WENT TO VISIT HER CRYPT LAST YEAR.. IT WAS VERY PEACEFUL.. I COULDNT BELEIVE I WAS SO CLOSE TO HER IT WAS AMAZING…I STAYED AT THE MARILYN MONORE SUITE AT THE ROOSEVELT HOTEL. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL..SHE LIVED IN IT FOR 2 YEARS.. IF YOU HAVE CLOSE TO 2K A NIGHT TO COUGH UP GO STAY THERE.. IT'S AMAZING…
Re: Hollywood Marilyn – wow!! she does seem like a sweet soul..interesting
By today's sizes, she'd be a 12 and I think she looks amazing.
You sure this pic is from 1961?
She didn't look like that 9 mos before she died. I mean, she was beautiful but this photo looks more like 1957 to me.
Love her. Funny comment about having her hair done since she had a wig on. This was the wig she sang Happy Birthday Mr President in and they also had to bury her in this too. They bumped her off. She got in over her head. They all got their's in the end though Eh? Karma , can't block it
Re: jp1988 – I've read many many books on her death.. If you want to get any to read, start off with "Goddess: The Secret Lives of Marilyn Monroe" by Anthony Summers.. A Brilliant photo book is "Marilyn" by Norman Mailer, but the reading of it is not that good.. If you can find t, also pick up her autobiography, since it's interesting to say the least…
Marilyn, call me…

Marilyn, call me!

She was SOOO gorgeous. I love her. I have that picture of her that is ballerine themed where she's sitting in the dance studio with the white frilly dress hanging in my room. I think she had a bubbly personality and was a great actress but most of all, she's an icon. I'd have to say my favorite movie of here's is The Seventh Year Itch. You asked if Michael Jackson would fade out, yet he is the biggest star to ever walk the earth but Marilyn Monroe is still an icon to girls and women of all ages 50 years after her death. Needless to say, in 100 years Michael Jackson will still be adored by alot of people.
They're called cat-eye sunglasses.
that's such a beautiful photo!
I miss the days when Hollywood was all about class and talent.
Re: Madonna_#1fan_4ever! –
This coming from a #1 fan of someone whom has ripped off everything Marilyn ever did, but yet still came off looking like a pale imitation.
