      How can you not like Clare Danes??? She's an amazing actress. This quote shows that she has a good head on her shoulders and wanted to actually be an actress… not just be famous. HUGE difference.

      You hate Jared Leto and Clarie Danes. Did My So Called Life like damage you as a teenager or something?       There are plenty of actors around who turned down roles on soap opera's..as an actor you tend to get typecast. So laying into Claire for this? MASSIVE FAIL!!!

      i worked on "temple grandin" for a day with claire danes. (i only had one line) but it was the weirdest thing-she had to wear these fake teeth (cos she plays a very unnattractive girl in the movie) i was sitting waiting to do my scene, and i saw claire literally SPIT her fake teeth out (and they were SOOOOO nasty, slimy, and disgusting) INTO HER ASSISTANTS HAND! i almost died. i was thinking "can this girl not handle her own fake teeth?!" what in the world is wrong with these kind of celebrities? i just felt so bad for the lady who had her nasty wet teeth in her hand. ill never forget that!

      What a supercilious and look-down-the-nose comment for someone with a limited resume. Soap stars work grinding hours year after year, and learn pages and pages of lines every day. They've been there for years because they get people to want to watch them. That's called an audience. Soaps have turned out many fine actors and actresses, and they are family to one another, so they would NEVER say something so patronizing to one another.

      Claire Danes is a snooty bitch and always has been. I remember from when she did interviews around MSCL and she said the same kinds of things then, basically that she's too good to do anything beneath her. So many stars got their start on soaps and they will all tell you that soaps help you develop BETTER acting chops because of all the lines you have to memorize and the grueling daily schedule. Movie stars who do one or two movies for a couple months every other year or so on average have it easy-peasy compared to that!
