Mary Hart Misses The Movie Stars!
We know what she means!
Mary Hart of Entertainment Tonight said that she has moments when she misses the days when ET "was all about the movie stars."
With reality television gradually taking over, Hart has had to report on people she doesn't even know about including Jon and Kate Gosselin. "I hadn't even seen an episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight," she admits.
But Hart takes it in stride saying that some of the changes are positive:
"It's a wonderful mix of things. Talking to Chaz Bono was one of the most moving interviews I'd ever done."

I deffinately miss the movie stars
but i admit i have a soft spot for some serious reality tv smut
"reality" t.v. is the lowest of the low brow. Can't believe how many people watch that crap. Makes me sad about the state of humanity.
I seriously miss the movie stars…with that said…I miss actual models on magazine covers…So tired of seeing actors and actresses on the covers. While I do enjoy some reality tv, these so called "stars" are over paid.
then why doesn't she put her foot down? their ratings sucks. It is just easier all around just to interview reality cruds, like jon gosselin, the jersey shore idiots, etc.
hate it….being a celebrity used to mean you had some talent to show for it….but now all you need to be is a basket case with a sex tape or relationship issues and you get all the money and attention that you want!!
I miss the movie stars, I miss when it was all about "behind the scenes look" and glamourous events. I seem to be one of the rare people who cannot stand reality shows…Bachelor, Survivor, Jon & Kate, it's all so boring. I can't watch more than 2 minutes of it. =( I guess movies are passé.
I miss it too. These reality "stars" aren't real celebrities. They're only 15 minutes of fame. After those 15 mins are up no one cares anymore. These people aren't even talented. It's sad…hopefully it won't be like this forever.
I'd happily give up all the reality tv stars, IF, that meant I never knew your fatass existed.

I do too. I miss REAL stars, not this endless parade of flashes-in-the-pan that are famous for six months then vanish. Reality TV, 'American Idol' and all that shit, you can have it.
I totally miss the Movie and Rock Stars….watching ET used to be all about catching up on all the (real) celebrity movies, concerts, shows whatever. Now I don't even watch it.

I really do miss people being famous because there was something special about them. Because there was something they worked hard at and did exeptionally well.
reality shows were great when they had real stars on them. e.g the osbournes. now anyone can have a reality show get huge pay checks and call themselves a celeb, stupid. get rid of them now!
i miss real celebrities not reality tv 'stars' since ANY ONE Can be part of that group. actors and actresses and most singers worked hard to get at least 15 minutes of fame and all kate gosselin did for example was pop out 6 kids and a pair of twins. they should do a reality show about me then. since i popped out……poop yea!!!!!! now thats fascinating!!! and my poop isnt a baby!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO REALITY TV FAME FOR ME
also i noticed that with celebs becoming more and more private about their personal lives due to the paparazzi stalkings i noticed that the only ppl who are willing to air their dirty laundry are reality tv people

ET and Mary Hart had TOO MUCH JON GOSSELIN. JON is the LOW LIFE TRASH OF REALITY TV. ET ordering a cake for Jon to take to the twins that misspelled one their names was horrific. The cake was not a style for a child, it was for an old lady.ET and Mary Hart paid Jon to come on and LIE to the world. Jon was breaching his contract by taking money for interviews from ET. Bad move for Mary Hart and her bosses.
But, Mary- was on a TV Show! Duh what did She expect?
Not impresses that She was thrilled with Chaz what's Her/His name!
