Nicole Richie's momma, Brenda Harvey, has reportedly been tapped to join the cast of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

If Harvey accepts the offer, she'll be in dramz-filled company - Paris's aunts, Kim and Kyle Richards have already agreed to appear in the upcoming season of Real Housewives!

She's not half and half. Nicole is a member of the musical Escovedo family, with her aunt Sheila E. a very famous drummer during the 80's. The Escovedos are a multiracial, multiethnic mix of a bunch of things, black, Creole, and Mexican. If anything she is Latina and black, but I've heard she considers herself black because of her adopted parents.

The only housewives i watch on tv are the ones from Wisteria Lane on ABC. So i dont really care who's on the next housewives, cz dont watch it anyway. It's pure trash, whether the women are famous or not; it's all the same to me. Nicole's so-called biological father Pete Escovedo is half Mexican and half African American. So no she is not Latino and she doesn't even acknowledge her Mexican half anyway if it is true. Rumor is that Lionel paid his good friend Pete to take the fall and pretend to be Nicole's dad to protect his image and keep his wife from finding out the truth. Nicole would not appear on Wayne Brady's show when Sheila E and Pete appeared because she said he was not her father. Anyway, idiots, Latins are White Spaniards not Messycans. Mulattoes are not Mexicans they are Black and white and nothing else. On Howard Stern Nicole stated that both of her biological parents were mixed race. That her mother was a Mulatto (black&white) and her father? was black and Mexican…which makes her 50% black, 25%mexican,25%white. The woman knows the truth about her ancestry which is why she self-identifies herself as A.American. My best friend is Chinese and was adopted by a white couple but he still doesn't call himself White, he calls himself Chinese.
