Settling into his position as Hollywood's golden boy, Taylor Lautner has signed on to star in an upcoming action blockbuster!
As the beloved bendable childhood figurine, Stretch Armstrong!
The Twilight star will be portraying the Silly Putty-like action hero in the upcoming 3D flick which is set to hit theaters later this year.
"In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office," says a rep for Universal Pictures.
"He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. We couldn't be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch."

I love Taylor and wish him nothing but the best. However, I don't think Max Steel nor Stretch Armstrong are good movie roles for him. He is going to get typed cast.
So far I think Rob has made the better movie choices out of all of his other cast mates. Remember Me looks like a good movie and , Bel Ami, Water Elephants are really good books. I think they will be good movies if they have a good screen writer as well as a good director.
