Kate Gosselin is releasing a third book on April 13 entitled I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith and Family. The book will have prayers, journal excerpts and letters to each of her children.
Kate says of the book:
"Each day the thought crosses my mind that when they get older, my kids are going to look back and think about how they were raised. I know they will have a lot of questions about things that may not make sense because they were raised so unconventionally.
"I don’t want them to grow up and wonder; I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them."
We're pretty sure you could write them letters without publicly publishing them for profit.
So why don't you just admit you want to make another quick buck!

Fame is an addiction, it truly is. Once you've tasted it, it's hard to get off. I think Kate means well for her children but I fear that she is unwilling to let go of her newlyfound lavish lifestyle and attention.
I hope things turn out okay for all of them because life in the limelight can be incredibly destructive.

The picture's fuzzy and I looked quickly at it, and thought it was a tell all book, what I saw was "letters to my kids, on Jon's Faith and Family" I'm glad to know it's not, but still, she shouldn't be adding more to the reason of why the kids need family. I just hope the letters went to the kids first and not the book.

You know, i probably will read her book. She's wayyy better than Jon, and you have to credit her for being the BIGGER PERSON in the marriage and not going to party in NY while you have 8 kids at home. I'm sure she does need more money now though- since they were living the good life until Jon sued TLC to get the kids off the show- they would probably be in Hawaii or somewhere now if mean old dad didn't want some publicity

Re: Larizza – Sooooo true. She really messed up. If she truly wanted what was best for them, she would have stepped out of the public eye a LONG time ago, waaay before the divorce. If she truly cared about her kids, she would have made her money, quit the show, and divorced John in private without letting the whole thing blow up so badly her kids have paparrazi following them to the school bus and the grocery store and to their birthday parties.
She should have not published this book for money and fame, and kept the letters to give to her kids in PRIVATE, that way they could have atleast one aspect of their lives they feel is kept between themselves.

And everyone saying that she should just get a real job, I ask you … If you were being paid $55,000 or so an episode (X23 episodes for the season) and getting a ton of freebies, would you be so willing to go back to a 9 to 5 job making $55,000 for the year and have to pay for everything yourself??? Didn't think so. You get used to the lifestyle and do what you can to maintain that lifestyle. And yeah, Kate treated Jon like shit but she at least made him likeable.

Guys, with 8 kids, there just aren't options other than what she is doing in order to provide for them. Jon is a major d-bag who cannot/won't hold a job. Would it be better for her to be gone 40-60 hours per week at a job every week, or to do this & a short book tour that afterward enables her to then be the one taking care of the kids? As a parent of 4 kids, I cannot imagine trying to provide fro 5 more. She took the $ from the previous sale & put it into trust funds for her kids' college educations…Jon was totally pissed about that during the divorce proceedings. Kate was definitely NOT nice a lot of the time, but readliy admits her mistakes & failures now. How well do you believe YOU would do under similar circumstances?

This is a good example of dis- taste as a mother. These letters should be private and for her children's eye's only not whoever would buy this book. The book is about nothing. She is making a profit off of this book so in around about way she is still exploting these kids. She is wrong and she and Jon need to step up and get jobs and raise those kids on their own instead of relying on the public to buy what ever they are selling this week to support themselves. When she had those extensions put in her hair and the price she had to pay told me her priorities are all messed-up. That money could have been better spent or saved. I beleive it is over for her and Jon and they are just hanging on by a thread they are so yesterday's news. They are dying a slow death in the public because neither one of them are ready to except their 15 minutes are over.

Kate is mentally ill. She is a desperate woman who cannot face the fact that she is incapable of raising her children. Instead of spending time writing a book, she should be TALKING to her kids. She did not write the first book ( a"friend" did), and the second book was a waste of paper since it had hardly any content and a just a bunch of pictures (that's what happens Kate, when you can't get a friend to write for you).
Kate is also currently writing songs with Linda Perry and Taylor Swift for her upcoming debut album.
