Hef Sued!
The chicks come first for him!
Hugh Hefner is being sued by some of his Playboy shareholders who are claiming that he is not taking up any offers to sell Playboy since the business is falling apart!
In fact he already put the kibosh on two potential and lucrative deals in the past six months alone!
An investment company analyzed the business saying:
"We think the wildcard here is Hugh Hefner. If you were Hugh Hefner, 81, would you give up the parade of busty blonde, the fancy mansion and the reality TV show for a payout?
"Hefner has continued to live the good life and make sure everyone knows it. Hefner remains in the limelight, showing up at media events and at the Playboy mansion…with his girlfriends by his side."
But is that the best thing for the company?
The lawsuit reveals, "Today the price of a Playboy magazine is far higher than the price of Playboy common stock." The mag sells for $5.99 while Playboy stock closed at $3.14 yesterday.
The shareholders are suing for unspecified damages because they say Hef dictates the decisions over them.
We don't see Hef giving a shiz about his shareholders unless they happen to be blondes with 34DD tittays!

Well I am sure Hef is the main share holder in the company and what he says goes. If they share holders don't like what he is doing they can always sell their interest in the company.

The porn business has totally changed (free & paid online models) and it seems Playboy is a bit outdated old-school nudie mag. Even their journalism has lost its edge. They missed monetizing their brand online and moving to the next level online. The reality show was a good idea but the new girls are not strong enough to carry the show.
Hef seems a bit 'gaga' these days ….Alzheimers, perhaps ? He really should not be making corporate decisions, or f**king young-uns !
i think its sad that this is happening but i knew it was going to end up happening any-ways. Hef is a good guy but girls is all he cares about & that shouldnt.

Re: DebDebs – Hef may have the controlling interest in the company, but it is a publicly traded company and therefore must consider overall shareholder benefit when deciding whether or not to sell. Hef is not considering his shareholders and has (supposedly) been sabotaging several attempts at a sale. While this guy may or may not win, he does have some ground to stand on (depending on whether or not he has proof of his allegations).
