Jack Bauer To Torture On The Big Screen!!!

twenty_four_ver11.jpg

It was bound to happen sooner or later.

24 is making it's way to the movies!

With Kiefer Sutherland completely on-board as star, exec producer, and contributor to the script, the flick is ready to head into some key preliminary stages. The movie will find the nation's favorite counter terrorist unit officer heading to Europe to deal with the bad guys.

The only thing that could be standing in the way of the show making the move to a feature franchise is the TV show itself. If a ninth season of the show comes through, than the movie will have to take a back seat.

The buzz around the movie has begun. Start your clocks, 24 fans!

Are U excited for the show to become a movie?

I LOVE 24 and can't wait to see it on the big screen. I've watched 24 since the beginning. But it is getting a little stale - a movie would be a new twist.

Nah… I have been a BIG fan of 24 and Kiefer (even named my youngest son after him! LOL) but this season is sooooooooooooooooooo lame… I think the end is here…

Re: BeautyQueen – AWESOME that you named your son after him. I too thought if I had a boy, it would be either Kiefer or Jude. But I was bleesed with a beautiful little girl instead. FUN FACT: I married my hubby because he actually resembles Kiefer Sutherland. He hates it when I tell him that. LMAO!!!!

I'd love to see a 24 movie…but it would have to live up to the expectations. 24 is a great show, but they're already in danger of letting it run on too long. Better to end things when they're still good than to let it just burn out, which I think is a possibility if the movie doesn't live up to the expectations.

It's means IT IS. 24 is making ITS way to the movies. Someone needs to proofread your posts. Sometimes I can't even understand what you're saying.

Great idea; people tire of cliff hanging at the end of many episodes, and this way a movie can tie up a tasty resolution. 24 is kind of a limitless concept, and people love modern intrigue. Bond sold on the same type of content, but 24 and Bourne advanced the concept to entertain today's sharpened viewers.

Yes!! There is something about this man that is so hot. He is not that good looking, but he is soooo sexy!

This gives me an idea. Has anyone read "Kiefer Sutherland: Living Dangerously"? I think Kiefer's life would make an awesome big screen film! I wonder who would play Kiefer in the movie?
