No Fun, NOLA!

New Orleans is gearing up for the Super Bowl victory parade, but the ladies have to keep their tittays under wraps!

Lame!

The police are reminding attendees that the parade is family-oriented and will be broadcast live throughout the world — so no flashing allowed! 600 cops will be patrolling the parade and anyone experiencing slips of the nips could get a summons or even be put in jail!

250,000 fans are expected to show up for the Saints parade.

We have a feeling some gals might disregard the new rules — it is almost Mardi Gras after all!

If the "ladies" can't keep their tops on they don't belong there. It IS a family event. Tits shouldn't be exposed. That's not "lame". That's respectful.

    2. 2

IT IS A FAMILY PARADE.WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEREZ.YOU PROBABLY THINK IT,S GREAT FOR HOWARD THE PIG STERN TO BE ON "AMERICAN IDOL" TALK ABOUT YOUR OXYMORON…………………..

    3. 3

When in doubt, whip 'em out! Yes, this parade may be broadcast internationally, but I doubt the fine people of Europe will be offended by breasts…

    4. 4

      how is that lame?
why do you care about boobs anyway P?

      ( , )( , ) No boobs there ` but here's a pair for ya!!

    6. 6

Why would a gay man such as yourself Mario give a shit about seeing tits?

It's not about being respectful. It's just normal for us. Most of my classes were cancelled/shortened today to let people get a chance to go to the parade and most of the businesses closed up shop about noon today. I understand not whipping it out, but why don't they do like Madi Gras and have "family" sections and 'raunchy' sections? Seems to work good that way.
BTW, Madi Gras here started Sunday night. :)

Since when do they broadcast the parades internationally?

    9. 9

Yep, Mardi Gras started officially Saturday and it ends on Fat Tuesday, the 16th. My bff in NOLA said parades have long since started.

You would find this lame, you have no sense of family. Is anything sacred to you? BTW….since when do you care about boobs?

    11. 11

If we're so concerned about "family", why are we turning the things that FEED infants into sexual objects that should be covered up?

    12. 12

Here in New Orleans it is already the Mardi Gras season. It begins Jan. 6th. So we have been celebrating for a while. And the celebration continued tonight. The parade was wonderful and the Saints were enjoying themselves on the floats. Also the locals dont flash. Mardi Gras has always been a family thing down here. Its the damn tourist you gotta worry about!!

A couple of cold ones and they'll all think it's Mardi Gras. They have a traditional way of celebrating in the Big Easy, and the reminder that this is a family part-ay is probably a really good idea, lol. What a win. Congrats to who dat.

    14. 14

As someone who lives in New Orleans allow me to state a very simple fact…it is usually the drunk tourist that flash not the locals. My family just got back from the parade and it was great…it's our team…Who DAT?!

    15. 15

And this is why people are worried about gay marriage, Perez, believe it or not, because of too much hedonism thrown around by horny gay guys who have no reason to stop. You are your own worst enemy, you really are.

    16. 16

YEAH, so it's ok to put video game ads on television that show men and women beating the living fuck out of each other, but HEAVEN FORBID a few youngsters see a goddamned tit.
Women, why are we tolerating this backassward crap? Why is it that looking at death and murder and "big men with guns" is ok, but looking at a woman's body isn't? After all, all anyone has to do is leave the goddamned parade and go home and turn on LOCAL TELEVISION.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH EVERYBODY?????!!!
Fuck, the morals and values of Western Society are MESSED UP, AND ATROCIOUS.
No wonder the rest of the world thinks we're going to hell.

    17. 17

So we're going to hell because we'd rather not have some drunken idiot pulling her top off and shaking her tits in public?? They are not showing their tits as a infants feeding body part. They are using it as a way to get attention.

    18. 18

everytime i read your idiotic nonsense i lieterally get enraged.. stop calling it tittays. you sound like a MORON.. i mean you are one but its unreal how sad and pathetic you are..someone as cruel and disgusting as you.. drop dead

    19. 19

new orleanians are actually really respectable people. Only the tourists flash. Most locals are family oriented people who go to parades for clean fun.
so please, stop talking about our city like that when you clearly don't understand how it works

    20. 20

      Re: Plinkie9
Again, they only get attention because we turned them into these forbidden, sexual things. If women were allowed to be topless AS MEN ARE, it wouldn't be so shocking to see them.

    21. 21

As a native of New Orleans…it is generally only tourists who flash at parades. Just saying :)

    22. 22

wait, why is this lame? i don't understand. it's not mardi gras, it's a damn super bowl parade that is being broadcasted on national televion and i'm sure a lot of people will be bringing their kids. kudos to new orleans for telling slutty girls to keep their shit in their shirts for a change.

    23. 23

Re: Brainiac – Yes you are right. but somehow, people doesn't seem to notice this. You get reality TV, with lots of swearing all the time. nobody cares.
but as soon as someone shows a tit on TV, is offensive and the always have to bring the word "family" to the surface. HOW do they think that families were fed on?
sadly and luckily that happens mostly in AMERICA.
here in Europe, nobody gives a damm about a pair of tits on TV.

    24. 24

So funny! I live in Pittsburgh and don't ever recall that announcement being made for the Steelers parade.

    25. 25

PEREZ - locals don't flash! that's the tourists who come to our city and do things they'd never do in their own. last night's parade was almost 100% locals. we are so proud of our saints and our city. i urge you to come down and experience REAL mardi gras. parades don't even roll through the quarter. bless you boys! thanks for a great season!

    26. 26

once again perez you amaze me i hope you read the comments im from new orleans ….ok ok wait you wrote about kim and reggie all is good then i read futher and you wrote about drew brees not stopping to sign autographs now no fun nola how stupid can you be !!!!! there is more about new orleans then just reggie bush and kim boobs and beer . have you ever visited nola ????? if not and you wanna come down let me know and ill show you what new orleans is all about and i agree with everybody else who commented its a family parade its not lame thats what the french quarter on mardi gras day is for ok .

    27. 27

Actually there have been parades on and off since January 6 (Kings Day/The Epiphane sp?). Most the the bigger krewes got rolling last Friday night. In recent years there aren't as many krewes (parades) rolling than in the past. I can remember times when there were parades rolling each and every night for two full weeks leading up to Mardi Gras Day with several parades rolling on Saturdays and Sundays all over the metro area. On any given night there could be anywhere from one to 6/7 or more parades rolling at different part of the area. As for the edict last night about a crackdown on no boobs being shown, this wasn't the french quarter, this was geared towards families. Not all parades/areas allow the craziness that is internationally known as Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street.
