Valentine's Day Gets A Sequel On New Year's Eve?

Warner Bros. has some pretty high hopes for their new Garry Marshall comedy Valentine's Day. The movie hasn't even opened yet and the studio is already filtering money into a sequel.
Sources say that screenwriter Katherine Fugate, who penned Valentine's Day, has already turned in a draft for New Year's Eve, the follow-up to the mega-star studded flick. New Year's Eve will again have Garry Marshall at the helm and also bring back a majority of the Valentine's Day characters.
Depending on how well VDay does this weekend, there might be no end to the holiday-focused flick franchise! After New Year's Ever could be St. Patricks Day!
Then Labor Day! Then Halloween! (No, they did that one already.)
Do U think this is a franchise worth pursuing?

fucking first………..
How the fuck should we know? It's not even out yet.
Will they do one for Steak and Blowjob day on March 14?
Considering the fact that the movie isn't even out yet, you useless parasitical twat, how the fuck can we have an informed opinion as to whether or not the franchise is worth pursuing? Can you possibly get MORE stupid than you already are?
I haven't seen it, but all the promos convinced me that Valentine's Day is just another (American) Love Actually… it's just another rom-com that reuses the same character description/development and plotlines over and over again… I won't be seeing this or the sequels.
Can you let me watch the movie first before asking such question? Tad early don't you think?
this movie is obviously a "Love Actually" ripoff
I agree it LOOKS like 'Love Actually,' but I'm willing to bet it's more like '200 Cigarettes.' And, if that's the case, we already have a movie about New Year's Eve…it's called '200 Cigarettes.' Don't think I'll be seeing this one…
What are you and Teddy doing for Valentine's douchebag? The usual peanut butter on the dick night?
They would do a movie called "Halloween (No, the other one)". Man, cash in, much?
Re: Long Dong Connery – I love you, man!
This flick has "BOMB" written all over it. With all the advertising and PR they are putting into this and all of the "celebs", its sure to go down in flames!
Re: Honk_If_You_Hate_Perez – LMFAO!!!!!!!!
I think the movie will bomb.
Stupid ass question considering the movies isn't even out yet dumbfuck
I hate these movies with a lot of celebrities in them. They are fuckin annoying.Let some other not so famous actors get work.
please no, please no, please NO
I'd much prefer a sequel to Love Actually. Love that movie. This is just an American ripoff that they hope to save with the likes of Julia Roberts.
This movie is going to be sooo bad!
I HIGHLY DOUBT one plot is going to link all these actors together. Unless "a theme" qualifies as a plot now. It is going to consist of virtually non-acted cameos. Everyone will be bitching and moaning about the holiday. In a very unbelievable way.
Re: Canadiana* –
LOL!!!
Re: liltrix09 –
Agreed.
HELL NO
what's the fucking plot already?
2 much celebs in a movie. Me don't like.
Re: Honk_If_You_Hate_Perez – LOL!
@ladynTO: I agree. Everyone seems to have forgotten that "Love Actually" did this first- and probably better, too.
lame
lol that would be cool
would be interesting considering all the issues that r possible to couples during these 2 holidays
to me this movie looks really annoying! and julia roberts and her cackle…its just full of big stars and i hate cheesy romance movies
george lopez
ashton kutcher
queen latifah and
jessica alba
oh cant wait for this one
We saw it last night at the movie theater I work at. They showed it early because all the critics that have seen it said it sucked, so they are so desperate to see how it'll do that they're showing it early to movie theater employees. I'm a girl, I usually don't think movies are corny. This was the corniest piece of shit movie I've ever experienced in my life. DON'T bother seeing it.
dont believe what the internet says and this movie look like a mjor failure and dosent interest me and it has celebrities in it
dude the previous make the movie look like shit this is deff razzie worthy
Lets see how many celebrities we can get into one movie and make sure that all their names are on the movie poster.
I love Gary Marshall, but I saw the screener of this one and unless they have done a lot of work on it in the last couple of months, it's a dud. There is absolutely no character development and it could not even touch the genius of Love Actually. Honestly, it was pure cheese.
oh, a movie with a million celebritys in it, THIS IS GOTTA BE GOOD. thaat was sarcasm btw.
i vote yes. the movie was good
