Dr. Murray Isn't Getting Off Easy!

Now that Dr. Conrad Murray has officially been charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of Michael Jackson, it's highly unlikely that he's gonna get any special treatment - including a plea deal!

"Dr. Murray's involuntary manslaughter charge is a straight felony, meaning it can't be reduced to a misdemeanor… there is very little incentive to strike a deal," said attorney Mark Geragos, who is not involved in the case.

The Jackson family will probably be happy!

"Dr. Murray will vehemently defend himself against the charge. He will not change his plea to guilty, period. This case is going to trial," said a source close to the defendant.

The doctor could face up to four years on prison if convicted. The dramaz continue in court on April 5th.

      good lock this bitch up!

he acted incompetently, he has already admitted giving Michael propofol on the day he died, he says that the amount he gave him shouldnt have killed him, but it did kill him, and he refuses to accept that. He did go missing after Michael was pronounced dead, he overruled two paramedics who wanted to pronounce Michael dead when they arrived at the mansion, its kinda hard to believe a Doctor cant tell when someone is dead when two paramedics can.

    3. 3

He deserves to sit in that jail cell for the full 4 years (hopefully more) to think about what an idiot he is!!

    4. 4

Once again I will say… Solitary Confinement. That would be the best bet for him. He deserves a higher charge.

Re: MJ ROCKS!!! – "its kinda hard to believe a Doctor cant tell when someone is dead when two paramedics can."
So true.. I think he was trying to make it seem as if he was trying to do all that he could but we all know that when he could have and should have been doing all that he could he instead was too busy trying to cover his tracks. In the autopsy report he supposedly told the detectives that when he first noticed Michael not breathing he put him on the ground to perform CPR. Really? So why when 911 was finally called he was giving CPR on a bed? If it is true that he initially gave CPR on the ground he then did realize that even after CPR Michael was not breathing so why did he not call 911? He's full of it. Alot of things about that day regarding Murray's actions don't add up and to me that add's to the fact that he should be given a higher charge. A grown man, a professional at that doesn't call 911 because he doesn't know the address so he let's his patient sit there suffering or worse dead.. Bull. Then when help finally comes he insist that they work on his patient and take his patient who has already been gone to the hospital so they can do the dirty work and pronounce him dead there.. Bull. The icing on the cake was this fool calling Prince to have to witness all that crap..Big time Bull.

What really amazes me is that he is still allowed to practice medicine. The medical board has still not taken his license away. What is up with that? What constitutes gross negligence in order for your license to be taken away? Actually cutting off all healthy limbs whilst the patient is still awake maybe?
And all the judge said to him in regards to carrying on practicing medicine was that he is now prohibited from administering Propofol. WTF?
Four years is far too short. He lied about the circumstances of how MJ died, what he gave MJ, where he was at the time when MJ was actually having his heart attack – and would not declare MJ dead at his house even though he already was.

Re: MJ ROCKS!!! – Autopsy reports revealed that the amount he gave him, amounted to enough general anesthetic given to a patient undergoing major surgery. Can you imagine having that with no anesthetist around, no heart monitor, no oxygen mask (the oxygen tank was found on the side empty), no pulse monitor, or blood pressure monitor. And of course their was no equipment for resuscitating him if he stop breathing.
Another fact, one of the risks of Propofol is it causes cardiac depression which is exaggerated given together with benzodiazepine’s which he had administered to MJ before hand.
How did this guy pass his medical degree, with such an inadequate knowledge of medicine?

Re: Lafemme22 – Exactly. I agree with you and I'm American so not all American's think the same ;)
I saw your last comments on the other post and you kind of lashed out at American's but please believe that we love Michael and did so even before his passing.

      _______________________________________________________________

      My thoughts exactly!!

    10. 10

Re: Lafemme22 – It's actually really dumb, but they are saying that they are waiting until trial to strip him of his license. It doesn't make sense to wait that long though!

    11. 11

Re: Lafemme22 – he has licenses in a few states. it is not like you call up and say, take away the license. different procedures for each state, paperwork, filing, etc. but the felony charge, if found guilty should help him lose the license. Right now, he is presumed not guilty. Think about it though. How many patients can he be seeing? would you want to go to a dr. that is such a sloppy dr. both medically and personally? So, if by the small chance he does not lose his license to practice in both states, or in just one, he is NEVER going to have the practice he once had. He probably will end up in a VA hospital or something equivalant. His lavish life style is over.

    12. 12

Re: Lafemme22 – Yeah that empty oxygen tank really got me pissed off. Also did you see the part in the report where apparently there were some kind of equipment that could have been used to help but it was like in another room in a closet?? WTH kind of stuff is that! Also, I want to bring up something that I saw another fan bring up on another site that haters are going to never catch because they never did a shred of evidence to begin with. Something that Jordie Chandler initially said when accusing Michael of molestation can totally be shut down with the autopsy report alone. I hope a whole lot of truths about a whole bunch of stuff starts coming out now.

    13. 13

he looks like an old tiger woods.

    14. 14

Re: hateliars – I honestly believe that his same patients are still going to him. I think they aren't too smart for it but they will more then likely look at the relationship they had with him pre June 25th and conclude that he's a nice guy. Yeah, he might be a nice guy but that nice guy let fear and finances over rule morals and ethics (another wonderful thing mentioned by someone on another site.) He wasn't worried about them once he was offered $100,000 a month. He was like "Peace out yall I'm about to go hang with the King of Pop!" I feel like it's just like giving a drunk driver his license back after his negligence behind the wheel caused the life of an innocent motorist. The laws are all screwed up.

Re: MJ fan59 – I know, sorry I know there was a lot of American fans supporting him, si I know I generalized, but the US and British were really harsh on him. I know he had a lot of American fans that loved him :)

    16. 16

OMG….at first I thought that was a horrible picture of Tiger Woods.

Paging Dr Murray………………, it is time to pay the piper!

    17. 17

Re: MJ fan59 – Yeah, the other equipment was the pulse monitor that he was suppossed to use. I mean how did this man eventually even realize MJ had stopped breathing when there was nothing actually monitoring him? Do you think he only noticed when MJ had already turned blue? Once he came in the room after he finished his phone call.

    18. 18

Re: MJ fan59 – Oh yes, I know what you are talking about with the Jordie Chandler case. I hope he is having major karma right now.

    19. 19

Re: Lafemme22 – Yep, I see alot of our suspicions are the same about Murray's action's that day. He say's he got up and went to the bathroom for only 2 minutes and when returned noticing Michael was not breathing. Anybody, doctor or not after trying to perform CPR would then reach out for backup right? Anybody who didn't "know the address" might even take it upon themselves to go outside and look while your dialing 911 right? but any fool especially I'm thinking a professional would know that 911 can trace down your call without even getting your address. The program from the other night played the call from one of the call's he made that day; to one of his patients. What about the other calls? Why isn't anyone bringing attention to the fact that he acted very suspiciously the whole time before having someone else call 911. If he did give MJ CPR on the floor as he says in that report then why in the world would you then pick him back up and place him on the bed again?? Very Shady…

    20. 20

Re: Lafemme22 – The prosecution can nail Murray by just using his own words against him. Like "MJ Rocks" said the guy says he gave Michael Propofol but then also says that he didn't give him anything that would have killed him. I don't know if he is talking about dosage or not but the fact is that he had already given him other meds. that combined with Propofol is extremely dangerous. The coroner ruled it as a Homicide due in part to reason that Murray administered such a deadly medicince outside of a hospital setting w/ out proper backup. I'm tired of hearing people say "It was Michael's fault." Michael didn't ask to die. Murray's judgement was very clouded. Would you give a 10 year old a bat because he says he has bullies at school who bother him to the point to where he can't concentrate in class and therefore needs to protect himself against them?? Heck no you don't! As an adult you use your judgement. Think of Michael as that 10yr old child asking for help. Think of Murray as the fool giving Michael that bat. People have got it all wrong.

    21. 21

Re: MJ fan59 – Yeah right, didn't know the address. Once again then, how intelligent can this man be if he has been going to the same house for about 3 months and has no idea what the address is? So either he is saying he is REALLY STUPID or well yeah he was doing some really shady stuff that day. And I can’t understand why MJ was lying on the bed? I’m sure when he found him he was already dead, and no CPR was necessary.

    22. 22

Re: MJ fan59 – I know people are just ridiculous. And I’m sure Michael didn’t specifically ask him to give him general anesthetic to sleep, seriously. As a doctor he could have given him very strong sleeping pills, like rohypnol etc, Surely about 3 of those would have put him out. The doctor gave him very lightweight benzo’s – if you have a sleeping problem, they won’t do anything for you. Why did he jump from benzo’s to anesthetic? It’s ridiculous. I’m not even a doctor and I can see how bazaar his ‘sleep treatment’ was.
Michael did trust him, and obviously believed he knew what he was doing. He probably was never told about the risks of the drug, or the fact that you needed to take so many precautions or how dangerous it was to mix it with other drugs. Michael was a musician not a doctor. (And one who didn’t have a drug problem – he just had problems in trusting the wrong people).

    23. 23

This man should not be on trial! Stop wasting our tax dollars! I'm a huge Michael fan; I've supported him since I could talk. Michael's death is unfortunate. However, Michael brought it onto himself. It makes no sense to try to hold one man accountable. Michael was in a lot of pain that took on many forms for various reasons. Dr. Murray is as guilty as the media, the paparazzi, and his team. We live in a society that refuses to address the truth. We hide it in a back room and place band aids on our cancers.

    24. 24

Re: MarleyRai – I can't even make sense of what you are saying with all the latest reports that are out.

      1) MJ was not a drug addict
      2) The coronor ruled that as a result of gross negligence it was a homicide.

Now what point are you trying to make exactly?

    25. 25

If Michael wanted to have Propofol, why wouldn't he have hired an anesthesiologist? They are experts in taking care of a pt with anesthetics, ie with monitors, crash cart, oxygen and would never have left the room to go to the bathroom after giving such a potent dose. Maybe this position was offered to several anesthesiologists and they told Michael "no" they wouldn't give him unlimited Propofol. This Dr. Murray is totally incompetent and ethically bankrupt–he should have all medical licenses revoked, never see a patient again and go straight to jail.

    26. 26

Re: MarleyRai – This trial isn't going to be about whether MJ was addicted to prescription medicine, it's about the fact that Murray was extremely careless and negligent when it came to treating MJ. Besides that, if Murray was practicing ethically ( like ALL doctors are supposed to) he wouldn't be in the situation he's in now. These doctors get so excited over money and the celebrity that they forget the proper, ethical guidelines for treating their patients…Murray should have refused to give those drugs to MJ…Murray brought this on himself….now he deserves to pay for it!

    27. 27

This 'doctor' should have his life terminated, let alone a pathetic 4 years in prison.

    28. 28

He should just resign himself to going to jail for four years and not waste tax payers' dollars. Four years is NO BIG DEAL. He was grossly negligent and his WHOOPS moment killed the King of Pop.

great job in whipping out the FACTS… makes a nice change to read something actually worth reading knowing that what im reading is properly researched.. thanks..

4 years??? that's it?? not justice at all!

    31. 31

Perez, you must do a "separated at birth" with this guy and Tiger Woods.
