      im glad for them. these are just 2 nice and talented women who wanted to play without all the drama. so good for them.
      Courtyard Houds is a crappy name though

      There are 4 songs to hear so far. I like them, but I miss Natalie's amazing voice…the Chicks had such an incredible sound.

      They were NOTHING withouot Natalie… they will be back playing fairgrounds.

      Natalie was the band.

      I'll miss Natalie, but the sisters are talented and can't wait to hear what they've got….love that fiddle and banjo. The Courtyard Hounds is actually a reference to the novel "City of Theives".

      I will give it a listen but not sure how its going to sound without Natalie's strong voice. Her voice made the Dixie Chicks.

      I LOVE natalie!! Damn! I listened to the song on their website, and she's OK. My first thought was, so this is what a background singer sounds like. I feel bad, their not bad, but NOT Natalies power . at . all. I loved her rawness. She was a better technical singer too. They might do ok, but I MISS her. I do like the off notes on their song though on their website though.

      So sad.. I was really hoping Dixie Chicks would make a come back.. I guess they went out on a high note with all their Grammy wins for the last album. They are still very talented women, but not the same without Natalie

      They sound like sheryl crow, a bit flat and boring, there is no power behind the music, this won't last long

      Natalie Maines was the Dixie Chicks and I can see why they want to try to move on…there ain't no chicks without Natalie.
      Why didn't Natalie want to come along this time? Why??? It's not like she had other things to do besides tend to the kids and the sisters have more kids than Natalie does!
      I may listen to this stuff but it won't be the same.

      They're still together people! Natalie's just not ready to be back in the limelight quite yet so the sisters are doing their little side project right now, which I LOVE! They were all 3 together during Christmas so it's all good.

      Yep, I'll be listening. They collaborate with Jakob Dylan (whom I love), and also teamed up with T-Bone Burnett. It should be a great album.

      I'll listen, but I sill want the Dixie Chicks to tour at least one more time. I never got to see them but my BF says it was one of the best show's he's ever been to, and he's seen WSP over 80 times.

      Natalie is my favorite by far,but then Natalie is married to the hunk from Hero's . Natalie is great looking ,talented,rich and has a hot husband and how many grammy's.wow so impressive. I like these two talented girls as well,can't wait for another mega-hit cd from the Dixie Chicks.
