The Madonna Curse Is Officially Over!

wenn5414761guy.jpg

Guy Ritchie can breathe a sigh of relief.

The British director's latest film Sherlock Holmes passed the 200 million dollar mark in America this past weekend and has earned 200 million overseas as well!

That means 400 million big ones were raked in by the movie starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law.

Congrats to Guy — this will surely help everyone forget about the disaster that was Swept Away!

Sorry, Madge!

Oh please. He finally made a relevant film with Robert Downey! What's that got to do with Madonna? For once his film doesn't suck that's all!

Thank God he got rid of that drama queen! She was ruining his career and I knew he would come up trumps again when she was gone! Good for him.

Madonna needs to the the Top and the big deal in any relationship. Hence, she kept Guy down while they were married. They are better off with out each other. Watch out Baby Jesus, your career will never take off as Madonna's man/boy. Let's hope this trend doesn't also involve her kids.

It wasnt just Swept Away. He had a few others that were complete s-hite

    18. 18

Thank God he dumped that old whore…she probably would have forced him to cast her in the movie…he's SO much better off without that dead weight!

    19. 19

Congrats Guy - I am sooo happy for you!

Next time in London I will visit the Punch Bowl.

that movie was the biggest waste of time and money i have wasted in a long time. the film had no heart and soul. no one i know loved that movie. most people say it was just ok and that they wouldnt see a sequel. goes to show u how important marketing is for a movie.

    21. 21

      They can both thank Robert.

    22. 22

Happy Resurrection Guy! Fond of Madge but she did sap all his creativity, and even pissed on his turf! The shackles are off. Congratulations.

    23. 23

Who cares about box office? The movie got TERRIBLE reviews and Guy Ritchie's directing was ridiculed by several critics. I wouldn't say he's made any progress… All of his films are overrated.

    24. 24

I' m happy to hear Guy is have so much success he deserves it
