Got Milk?

| Filed under: Baby BlabberKhloe KardashianKourtney Kardashian

Leave it to Khloe Kardashian to dish out the details on her sisters's private lives. We love it!

Khloe took to her Twitter earlier today and revealed a bit too much info about the oldest of the Kardashian girls, Kourtney.

Turns out Kourt's tasted her own breast milk before. Khloe reveals:

"Kourt just admitted that she tasted her own breast milk. Ummmm TMI"

She also joked:

"Wow my sister has changed. She used to whip her boobs out for no reason. Now she does it to feed her child"

And although drinking your own breast milk won't harm you, it still doesn't sound like something most women do.

One board-certified lactation consultant (who even knew there was such a profession) admits "it's not dangerous" to drink your own breast milk and adds:

"Breast milk has nutrients and anti-bodies that can help boost the immune system. Occasionally, I'll have a mom say, 'Hey, I tasted my breast milk.' It's not one of those things that's unheard of. But it's not like in my professional career, I run across it daily."

And if Kourtney's tasted the milk, you know that most likely means baby daddy Scott Disick has done so too.

What do U think about tasting breast milk?

I'm sure most women do and don't admit it. I probably will. It's just a curiosity thing.

  2. 2

lol i love khloe! and drinking you own breast milk doesn't seem like that big of a deal

  3. 3

Please, we drink cow's breast milk everyday!

  4. 4

Wow. I am just trying to imagine in what way you thought this was interesting celebrity gossip. Honestly, Perez, tasting her own breast milk? You think we give a fuck about that?

  5. 5

Yeah, most women have a taste, I did. I got deliberately squibbed in the eye by my sister once, nearly had my eye out she did.

  6. 6

yea Khloe, she changed…its called GROWING UP, you Miss Piggy looking glamazon. You should learn from her and also learn to shut your fat mouth all the time

  7. 7

Tasting your own breast milk is perfectly normal. It's HER breast milk not like she is sucking it off of someone else nor did she drink a glass of it. I tried it when I was breast feeding my baby, it's merely out of curiosity. It's really sweet. lol

It tastes like sugar water AND if you give your tit a little squeeze, it'll send breast milk flying across the room. Make sure you milk those bad boys Kourt!

When my son was born, I tasted my own breast milk, as I wanted to know what it tasted like as I was going to be feeding my son it. It isnt a bad thing, it isn't disgusting to do, it's not even something to be ashamed of. Majority of my female friends who are mom's as well have also tasted theirs. It's not wrong Perez, don't try and make us women feel wrong to have done so.

  11. 11

um why is this a big deal? maybe she was curious. its not like she drank pee. and we drink breast milk every day with our cereal. just not from a human. OMG big deal.

  12. 12

I guarantee almost all breastfeeding mothers try it. Been There. Done That.

  13. 13

I just want to say, as a nursing mother, who knows many other nursing mothers, that tasting your own breast milk it totally common. EVERY nursing mother has done it, I guarantee. And probably 90% of the dads have tasted it too.

  14. 14

im sure most of the women have done it, but to me it´s still gross

  15. 15

I think almost any woman who has given birth in a hospital knows what a lactation consultant is. Breast feeding doesn't come naturally to everyone, especially if there are complications during birth.

As for tasting your own breast milk, I wouldn't want to go out and drink a bottle or anything, but I think every breastfeeding mother is at some point going to get breastmilk on their hands and then inadvertently put their hands in their mouth. I know I've done it plenty of times. No. Big. Deal.

  16. 16

These three harpies have latched their desperate claws into possibly the ugliest men in LA. I love it!

  17. 17

totally natural perez you are the weird one

  18. 18

Like seriously….we're discussing breast feeding on a celebrity blog?

  19. 19

I think most new mothers do. Why is this a discussion topic? Stop trying to shit-stir and shame women. We have to deal with body shame imposed by the media every-fucking-day.

  20. 20

"One board-certified lactation consultant (who even knew there was such a profession)"

Uhm I'm pretty sure any woman who has children or plans on having them in the near future knows what a lactation consultant is, since it's pretty much standard procedure for one of them to come talk you through your first breast feeding at the hospital/birthing center/etc. Breast feeding doesn't always happen perfectly right away as if it's magic or something.

  21. 21

honestly that makes me wanna hurl. gross.

  22. 22

I find this post so ignorant, can´t help it. Can´t stand it when people talk about things they know nothing about, think whoever writes this should just stay away from writing about pregnancy and baby stuff.

  23. 23

Who cares? Mario (or whoever's writing this site now), you really need to quit reporting on spare parts like the Kardashians, or change the heading to read "Wannabe- celebrity juice, not from concentrate."

  24. 24

yes I have tasted my own breastmilk, big deal. I once forced my husband to drink too.. had no choice, I was bursting and the baby was sound asleep ;-P

  25. 25

  26. 26

OMG Perez-you need to be around some people that actually have kids. This does not seem soooooooo outrageous like you are trying to make it. It is a FOOD-it's not such a stretch to think that some women may try it. Please, I've even heard of guys tasting their own junk! That's crazier than tasting breast milk! And to the person below that's saying that someone else is blogging for Perez and the proof is that the words are misspelled……..I ALWAYS find misspellings, wrong tense,etc-he's been doing that forever-clearly he does not proof read what he posts. Even we he quotes people-he ends up misquoting them because of missing words, misspellings, etc IT'S SO ANNOYING!!!

  27. 27

Anyone that's had a child & a lover knows that breastmilk gets tasted either accidentally or on purpose. Once my hubby told me that it tasted sweet, I had to try it myself. And yes, it was sweet. It's not like I was nibbling on my own shit. Seriously…this is NO BIG DEAL.

  28. 28

I tasted my sister's breast milk, i was curious xD

  29. 29

Re: tigrrrlilly – thats funny…planning on having kids one day? Do you have kids? Would you feed your child something that you would not taste yourself? Ever had a glass of milk in your life? Or perhaps your mother breast fed you;) Grow up. Seriously - your comment is pretty sad.

  30. 30

wtf? who cares. its just natural curiosity that gets you sometimes. I did and so did my husband, it was a funny dare. but even after i stopped breastfeeding, your milk production doesnt just stop, it can take months and even over a year for it to completely stop producing milk. I'm sure it didnt help when my hubby would suck my nipples in the middle of sex and then get the flow going…lol. he had to stop sucking on my boobs until i didn't produce more milk.

  31. 31

Re: wtfKeyWest – UM i hope you are not referring to Reggie Bush!

  32. 32

Re: chaot1c – no i do not have children. nor will i ever have a child. i am not so in love with myself that i feel it necessary to make copies of myself. my family's name will die with me. the world does NOT need anymore of my family's DNA in it. it will be a much better place without it.

  33. 33

Re: chaot1c – and NO my mother did NOT breastfeed me. she thought the very idea was disgusting.

  34. 34

ugh, annoying. My mom is an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and and RN. This job is NOT unheard of and every hospital has at least one… In a world of convenience and advertising, SOMEONE has to educate mothers that breastfeeding is free and way better for you, your baby and the environment than formula… and who cares if she tasted her own breastmilk.. we drink cows breastmilk, which is completely ok?

  35. 35

    Like warm watered down horchata!!!!

  36. 36

Ummm, didn't I just see her man on Tosh.O~~the average white guy rapper? youtube it bitches!!

  37. 37

Of course you would think it is weird–you are a gay man. You aren't capable of lactating or giving birth to a child or anything having to do with breastfeeding. Most moms who breastfeed will try their own milk, and why not? It's okay to chug down something from a cow you will most likely never ever come across in your life but it's "weird" to taste what your own milk is like? To see what it is your own child is drinking? Silly. And of course you wouldn't realize there are such things as a lactation consultant. Sorry Perez, but when it comes to pregnancy and child-raising I think you should just skip the stories relating to it all together because you sound reeee-dic whenever you try to add in your 5 cents.

  38. 38

I find it really odd that you had no idea that there was such a thing as a lactation consultant. Its sad that, in the 70s and 80s breastfeeding was painted as something that was 'bad' and not 'normal,' when really it is the best thing you could ever do for your child!! I am pretty sure anyone who has ever breastfed has tasted their own milk. Perez, a lot of people read what you write, so you do have some power of influence. Breastfeeding already has a very false negative stigma attatched to it - please don't add to that by writing ignorant things such as this "news" about Khloe Kardashian.

  39. 39

Re: blueboy – OMG DRAGNET!!! I love your icon :)

  40. 40

I nursed for five years and not once did I taste my own breast milk but to each thier own.

  41. 41

Anyone who has breastfed has done it. Why wouldn't you taste something that your baby is drinking? It's not like urine or sweat for Pete's sake. It's very sweet and yummy!

  42. 42

I'll bet almost all women try it, and their mates too!

  43. 43

Re: tigrrrlilly – The idea is disgusting? Thank god you don't want children. The act of breastfeeding is completely and totally natural. That is the reason for breasts and nipples (for men and women, imagine that!). If you really feel that way, I not only agree that you shouldn't have children, but you probably shouldn't interact with other human beings. Your comment is ridiculously ignorant and you shouldn't be spreading such stupidity. Please, if you are smart enough to realize that you shouldn't have children, you must be able to see when your comments are idiotic and should be kept to yourself.

  44. 44

    You're an idiot.

Lactation consultants are registered nurses who then become certified as educators to assist new (and experiences) moms who have issues/concerns/questions about breastfeeding. Breastfeeding isn't as simple as shoving a baby's face in your boob; issues of nipple inversion, latching, and ability to suck are addressed. Not to mention the possibility of mastitis. Registered nurses can also be certified in a number of other areas so why don't you do a little research before running your mouth.

  45. 45

    Breast milk is sweet!

  46. 46

What a fucking weird thing to say. Why would ANYONE feed a baby something they were not willing to try themselves? Cannot believe this society that tries to make women ashamed of being women. Disgusting.

  47. 47

It's not that big of a deal. I never drink my own but I did taste it. My boyfriend loved it. Most say it's sour but my boyfriend said mine tasted like sugar milk.

  48. 48

I tasted my breast milk. I was curious. I think most mother do it. Its no big deal Perez.

  49. 49

Every mother who has ever breastfed has tasted their breastmilk. Its pretty much unavoidable at some point or another! That Khloe is a real snot. I can't wait until she gets knocked up.

  50. 50

    Why not?

  51. bunna says – reply to this

wow, welcome to La Leche (that's an organization of board certified lactation consultants for women who breast feed their babies Perez). maybe try google instead of bing and you might get better info to post?

  52. 52

For someone who prefers to guzzle sperm as his choice of beverage you sure are mighty picky about what others drink

  53. 53

hardly gossip fatboy. i might taste my own breast milk someday. just to say ive done it and because im curious. if its good enough for the baby…..

  54. 54

Dear Khloe, you ugly whore: If it's "TMI" then why are you sharing it with the world?

  55. 55

    totally natural

  56. 56

I did it out of curiosity. It was weak and not very tasty.

  57. 57

Its not that weird as most of the Mom's on here will testify. Nor is it weird to have your husband like to suckle just for fun (it was hot) . What is weird is having a sister with a big mouth who talks about it in public.

  58. 58

I think its perfectly normal to want to taste your own breast milk. I mean, if your a woman, you should want to know what your feeding your new born.

As for the fathers, breast milk is a lot less disgusting than performing cunnilingus.

    Get over it.

  59. 59

Hey Tigrrrlilly: Ever heard of accidents.

Being sexually active increases by 100% your chances of having babies.

You are full of yourself, and I also do not wish for you to recreate mini copies of youself. The world is filled with enough brainless people as it is. I mean come on, Perez has a blog.

  60. 60

JUST SHUT UP PEREZ…….or whoever. SHUT UP.

  61. 61

Almost all the mommies I know, self included, have tasted their own milk, not gross at all. It tastes sweet, very sweet, depending on what you eat. In fact mommy milk can be out on just about any cut or infection and help it to heal much faster than anything you can buy in the store. I have even known women to use it for yeast infections, takes away the itch and the infection away quickly and a lot more safely than meds.

  62. 62

Why would you feed your baby something you wouldn't taste yourself? Makes sense to me. The only thing that strikes me as weird about her is that she sticks with that douchebag of a baby daddy. She has plenty of money and she is gorgeous. Move on already. He's a dead weight.

  63. 63

i probably would. just for curiosity sake. i mean i wouldn't drink it but i would taste it. what's wrong with that? and why would you think it would not be good for you–your feeding it to a baby–??

  64. 64

Re: stellagranos – I TOTALLY AGREE!! I WAS GONNA WRITE THE SAME EXACT THING!! Khloe irks my nerves….ugh!

  65. 65

    Some things are best untold

  66. 66

Oh please. If this gets blown out of proportion, it is yet another ridiculous low. When you nurse, it drips. I don't know a single lactating mother who hasn't at least swiped up the drips from their sweet baby's cheek or off their own belly, so their pants didn't get wet, and do the fastest, easiest thing: quickly lick it. It's not so much to DRINK it, as to take care of business! And, of COURSE, to put a taster on your tongue with your finger is natural to simply see what in the world your baby thinks is the elixir of life! Good for her for nursing …

  67. 67

O-M-G…..who cares about the milk….what is up with Scott's hair? Is he trying to channel Christian Bale in American Psycho? whew! Embarrassing….

  68. 68

When my girlfriend's stepsons are starting to get sick, her husband gives them her breastmilk and they are well by the next day. And if the husband himself is starting to feel sick he will help himself to the breastmilk and gets better! It's all those nutrients!

  69. 69

Re: rebeccaelyse – and you have a great day too!

  70. 70

Re: Kieraknightly – accidents are why we have abortions. sorry if you disagree with my opinion. have a great day!

  71. 71

Perez sometimes your stupidity amazes me!

  72. 72

LOL. I actuallly don't know any mommy's that breastfed who HAVEN'T tried their own milk… our hubby's have too! Its like…. sugar water! Lol and OF COURSE it isn't dangerous obviously since we feed it to our kids. Good for Kourtney growing up… oh silly kardashians!

Re: tigrrrlilly – Well, know that if you did decide to, it would aid in boosting literacy rates, lol, so worse things have happened.

  74. 74

I think most woman have tasted it they just don't talk about it.

  75. 75

    Re: @v@ – xoxo!!

  76. 76

I would say most moms have tasted their milk - why wouldn't they? The lactation consultant you talked to has her head up her butt if she thinks it's rare…the moms just aren't telling her they did it. If you are seeing a lactation consultant, you have bigger topics to discuss than "I tasted my milk"…you are trying to resolve breastfeeding issues and paying for the time, why waste time talking about tasting breast milk!? Baby drinks the milk 8-12 times a day, so what if mom dips her finger in or takes a sip just to see what her babe is drinking?

  77. 77

why is everybody pissy about this subject? why does it anger some of you so much that some of us are grossed out by this story? i really don't get the vitriol.

  78. 78

Re: tigrrrlilly – I guess most women (and me) don't understand WHY you (some of us? I think you're the only one) are grossed out. Just different opinions. It doesn't matter, really. Why are you so opinionated on it? haha

  79. 79

Re: PeaceLove :) – oh i'm just an annoying, loud-mouthed broad who never knows when to shut up - i've got too many opinions about everything!! ;)

  80. 80

    Nice MULLET ,TOOL!!!

  81. 81

I have never understood all the sitcom and comedy sketch jokes about someone accidentially drinking breast milk and everyone freaking out. We drink milk from all different barnyard animals from cows, goats, sheep and others. A human's milk has got to be cleaner than an animal that digs in the dirt for its dinner.

I also find it amusing that Perez is all freaked out by this when you know he swallows human excretions from much nastier places every chance he gets. :)

  82. 82

    Re: this.is.me xx – LMAO - pee - HAHAHAHAHAAA

  83. 83

    Um ok.

  84. 84

I think this was an episode of Friends

  85. 85

I love Khloe, she is the only one that keeps it real. Kim is so stuck up & so self absorbed not to mention she could not be anymore phony. I saw her interview on Joy 's show last night & she is so full shit. As far as I'm concerned Khloe is the only one with anything worth writing home about.

  86. 86

Hey that douche Scott has Jenner hair, lmfao…. Shit looks like a bad wig

  87. 87

Yikes.. some of you need to get off Perez's dick. He didn't really make that big of a deal about it.. Khloe did. He just posted some stupid news about Khloe telling people about breast milk tasting. He is a gay man.. maybe in his world, he does not know a lot of women who have done it. Breast feeding mothers know its is quite normal, but he is not a breast feeding mother. The question was what do you think about tasting breat milk? Hell, maybe it was a slow news day.

  88. 88

    Re: tigrrrlilly
I dont understand why this bothered anyone. If this site makes people that angry.. why on earth read them. Some of the comments are far too angry. Breast feeding moms have all tried their own breast milk.. women and men who are not parents could very well find it nasty. I think its nasty when people let their dogs lick their mouths.. Im sure someone on here would disagree with that too. Its a gossip forum.. THAT is why Kourtney's breast milk is a topic. And Perez was not wrong.. goofball topic or not, you all read it. Isn't that his goal?
