John Mayer Breaks Down In Concert! Boo Hoo!

Last night, John Mayer choked up on his own bullshit stage in Nashville and apologized for his outrageously insensitive interview with Playboy magazine. As he says, in his "quest to be clever" he ended up coming off as a huge dick. He told his fans that he intends to "quit the media game" and that he just wants to "play my guitar."

Thing is John, we've heard all this before. It never sticks with you. Mostly, because you work that Mayer charm and somehow, the universe forgives you to douche-up another day.

No doubt this will end in the same way.

      I think the media really went after him hard on this and in a mean-spirited way. There's no denying he was plenty stupid, and probably drunk.       What I hate the most about the fact that he apologized, is that it's so cliche, and the fact that his answers are so off the wall and overtly honest is what keeps John Mayer abuzz and controversial, however if he is apologizing because he really feels that he offended some, then cool. I just can't stand when a celeb says something that makes everyone drop their jaw, (usually because they have wanted to say it themselves and never could) but immediately they are trying to save face and apologizing in an ingenuinely scripted way. And in John's case, since he has proven to just be tactless and flacid in the way he speaks, he's gonna be apologizing a lot lol, and lose whatever respect he does have.
